I like the game! Having said that, on the issue of "too short", I am undecided. It took me a long time to play because I took my time and because it was hard for me to find the tiny items. But, it did end abruptly which would make one feel the game is short. I know the designers tried to cut down on the reading for us. Too much info was a criticism, I guess, for the first game. This game, however, does not have enough information. It was unclear to me why the priest was a prime suspect. I didn't really see any clues that would point to anyone specifically. Some of this may go back to the first game. I will replay it to see.
Maybe more information should be provided with the option of skipping it for those who aren't interested. I think the story lines for these games are important and should not be edited too closely. OTOH, they should not be excessive. This, I suspect, is a difficult call and I admire the designers who can get a balance. Obviously, this game requires a little more info. Maybe the information could be put into the journal. Then those with "inquiring minds" will be satisfied and those who don't want to read will be happy too. |

Use your hints – If you find yourself stuck in-game, make use of your hint cache. Each level you play, you’ll be started out with 5 hints for use during the level. They don’t carry over, but you’ll always start with 5 on each screen.
Consult your journal – It’s a good idea to reference your journal from time to time while playing. If you’ve been away from the game for a while, reading over your journal will bring you back up to speed with your investigation. Confused on puzzles? – If you should get stuck on a particular puzzle, try scanning the screen with your cursor for an area that sparkles when you mouse over it. Many times you’ll be given a clue about what needs to be done in that spot to progress. These are just a few hints to help you out. If you have any other suggestions, post them below! |

Very nice advice thanks. I'll use next time in cinema. If I wont like the movie, I will watch until the end anyway, then I will ask my money back because I didn't like it. Also I will write on some forums that people should ask for refund if they don't like it. Doesn't matter that I spent 2 hours in cinema. Really nice advice, best I ever heard |

(Summary continued)
*Two puzzles where you reassemble a picture. There are only 16 pieces, they are very large, and you assemble them over a greyed out picture of the picture you’re assembling. Not a challenge even for a six year old. *Pick a lock with a paper clip. You have to click in the right sequence. *Use the tools in your inventory to repair an engine. Fix a ladder with lumber, hammer, and nails. Neither puzzle is a challenge at all. *Rearrange the discs on a vault by color to open the vault. Very easy (unless you’re color blind). Does NOT change each time. *The hardest puzzle is one where you have to make a path from buttons on the left to fuses on the right, but you are given the option to skip. This game DOES change each time (I think). That’s it. You also don’t have to solve any kind of mystery or use evidence to try to eliminate suspects. |
