Cellar - Door Puzzle

I know the lights need to be turned on, that was easy to see.

My question is how? I have used the keys to get letters and I have tried unscrambling the letters.

Could you give another clue. Thanks.

The keys have a special shape at the top.
Like a hart or a moon.
Take the letter from that key, and place it at the same symbol by the lights. You will form a word and than the door will open.

I have read all the responses and I still can't figure out what to do!!! Maybe I am having a blonde moment. Can somebody help so I can finish the game???

You have to use trial and error to change all of the blue lights to yellow. Once you have all of the yellow lights on, throw the switch and a battery will appear. Drag the battery to its proper location, then repeat the process again to get another battery, until all of the empty battery slots are full. With a little bit of fiddling for reception, you will now be able to play several primitive games. Winning a certain one of these games will cause your screen to change to a set of flickering pictures instead of displaying the game you were playing.

That's as far as I've been able to get with this puzzle -- I got the green game screen to change, but the door still doesn't open. Has anybody got a hint for me as to what I should do next? The hint buttons just keep showing me what I have already done... win the game on the green screen.

I've spent sooooooooo long trying to get all the lights yellow. Is there a way besides "trial & error"?

I cannot get all the yellow light on. I have done this puzzle before and know it works, but, this time it won't work.

I have been playing the cellar for quite a while and I cannot get finished with the third screen. I am able to finish the first two screens but the last screen goes so fast I am not able to go fast enough. After the last screen, please, what is the next step or is that the last step. I have read more than one request and I keep hearing them talking about a key and I don't see keys or letters. Are they combining two games or is there more to the CELLAR than I know. Hellllpp!

There are 2 doors: 1 is the door to get into the cellar and 1 is a door in the cellar to the crypt . The door to the cellar is the one with the square of yellow lights and a TV screen. The crypt door is available only at the end of the game when you have collected all the skeleton keys.

If you are talking about the 3 games on the tv screen, one you should be between the 2 lines and avoid them until your score goes to 0.

On another game, you avoid the hearts and catch the round circles until your score goes to 0 (that is the 3rd game).

I forgot what the 2nd game was.

The strategy guide has complete instructions. If you can't buy it, try Googling Ravenhearst Walkthrough. There is at least one with a video. Some are beter than others but I can't post the site URL. Sorry!

Your keyes have shapes. Put a key in the black screen and a number will appear. Put that number into the spot where the key shape appears. Once all keyes have numbers, your door will unlock.

HELP! I have made it to the end. I have all of the yellow lights lighted. Now, what word do I spell out?????????? I have tried Charles and his last name..NO LUCK. I am so frustrated. Please help.

If you are on the cellar door, you must collect batteries to fill the open slots. Once you have done this, play 3 games on the TV.

If you are at the crypt and have collected all 7 keys, this is what you need to do:
Place each key one at a time in the top center slot. A letter will be displayed. Find the lower area with the same symbol. Click on the light for that symbol. It will turn green. Turn the center bottom handle till the letter displayed is the same as the one in the slot. Remove the key and place another in the slot. Do this for each key. You will spell out a word. There are a number of different possibilities so you just need to see what yours is.

To turn the light hit the middle and corner light, try hitting the same lights over and over.

I have tried to turn all the yellow lights to blue...so far all the lights do is keep changing...maybe I am also having a "blonde moment"...

Really wish when you purchase one of these games it would have some writting clues to follow...
