Click on the Sheriff's office. There are 2 or 3 sheriff's to choose from. Click on one of those pictures to hire a sheriff. You can also click on the deputies to hire them.

HI Moon66,
I'm sure you have worked this out already but the trees are at the general store. You have to buy them then plat them with a person.
I am stuck trying to get through the tunnels! At least I managed the mechanic quest after about 2 weeks of frustration! It really helped to build a sheriff's office and take the deputies with me!

Hi. I need help! I am doing the 'rescue the town' quest and I have completed everything. Fired the mayor, run him out of town etc, completed all the side quests and the man has arrived by the bridge but I can't speak to him! Is this a gilch or is there something else I have to do? Help me please! cheers

First, doublecheck that you have cleared out all the bandits (look @ the mini map for red dots) then check through all the townsmembers to ensure you spoke and helped everyone including the hungry wolves. Other than that, I honestly dunno...might well be a glitch ?

I believe I have activated the white rabbit and my hero is chasing it around. I keep clicking on the rabbit but nothing happens. Also, my hero is still carrying the pick from digging at the silver for the ring. I've tried everything and can't get her to drop that pick. I've even had her shoot upon a gray rabbit; which she does, using the pick held like a rifle and bullets fly out and kill the gray rabbit. any ideas???

How do I build a fire?

I want to go into the tunnel near the end of the train track, but it says I need to build a fire so that I can see inside the tunnel. How do I build a fire?

Building a fire seems rather clumsy how about something more elegant, like a street lamp.

As to the elusive white rabbit and Polly"s (?) loaded pick, I've heard of these instances but don't know of any remedies beyond reloading your game.
THE White Bunny will show up in your gunslingers scroll after triggering the correct sequence of events.

sunnybabi1986 wrote:Your hero doesn't actually have to chop down the tree. Just build a lumber camp and have a couple citizens work at the camp chopping it down. Your hero doesn't necessariliy have to do everything to complete tasks. For example, your hero gets experience points if a citizen builds a new building, etc.

Also, to find out who is stealing the town's money, have your hero stand by the bank. The mayor will come and take money out and carry it to the town hall. Click on him and then fire him. This will cause your hero to confront him on stealing the money. Good Luck!

Wow - never thought of that! I just dynamited the tree. Had to bomb the one near the pro challenges twice to get through there.

No Problem
I must assume you have drawn out some of the bandits with the blow up the wagon ruse, yes ? And rescued all the goodies in the deserted camp and are now at the top of the map eyeballing the horses ?
If you will look to the right of the horse corral, you will see a water tower. Send your hero up the side of the hill on the right and shoot that tower down. The gates will be knocked open, the horses will run away, and the bandits will be mighty put out.
Make sure you send your hero back to his possee and way lay the bandits sent up to recon the mess.
Then go investigate what's cooking at the other deserted campsite....

I just finished the fooling of McAllister to take the worthless town when I get a nasty error saying the game cannot proceed without downloading maps and to reinstall the game. I did that using my Big Fish Account but I still get the error and I need to contact Tech Support to find these maps! Other than this the game is totally addictive!

I just came across this same problem and can't find any help on it. I have tried to reinstall the game a couple of times but still end up with the same message. Has anyone else come across this problem, and if so, have you found a solution? Thanks in advance.
