Hi All,
I am glad to hear that some of you are enjoying the game and that others found the walkthrough useful.
I just want to make a note about the organ game.
The game kind of tricks you because you think that the second organ card belongs to the row of numbers in the middle, it does not, it belongs to the bottom row. I think people are doing them out of order. The same thing happened to me when I tried to click on the buttons.
The walkthrough has the order that the cards appear and it highlights the row of numbers in the screenshot.

Don't let what you read put you off - a free hour is a free hour - then you can decide for yourself!
Very Well Said. You need to try every demo to make up your own mind. I do enjoy this game (am about 2/3 of the way through). Looking forward to more HOG combinations. I especially like the games where you find parts of items, put them together and figure out where they belong. You have to hand it to these wonderful websites. Where would we be without them - probably up a creek without a paddle. Enjoy!

Oh, wouldn't that be lovely! I really enjoyed those games. Also the Azada series and the Dream Cronicles, plus many, many other well crafted ones. Kudo's to the game creators and please keep them coming.

Like said before I was born + lived in Amsterdam until age of 22 and excited to learn about this **** game.
After having plaid the Demo I bought the game, as of course being very touched by the lovely photo's of A'dam places exactly like I do remember them and they bring back so man happy memories like first love / all the shows; etc. seen in the CARRÉ Theatre / countless visits in the RIJKSMUSEUM /etc. / etc.
So I continued playing and must say sofar I like the game, but.......
.... I'm already stranded at the AMULET minigame and do not seem to have to right insight even with the gamehint ???
Has somebody who finished game already another hint for me, as here the game doesn't help in showing when you click
an amulet on a place that it's right (or wrong) like in so many other ****-games.
Or do I have to follow up MargieB's tip, but I'm not sure if I'm clever enough then to find the solution.
Thanks in advance for any help.

bribling wrote:I am enjoying it. Bought it before the hour was up. It is pretty simple so far. It has some easy minis. If you don't like the music, you can go to options and turn it off.
Some objects are outlandishly large, some are reasonably sized. There might be a small object or two though I don't recall any. What is small are the diamonds you need to collect to charge the Hint system. I was still able to find most or all of the diamonds.
I am finding it interesting. Some objects go in inventory to be used in mini games later. it may get more difficult as it goes (I hope). Amsterdam locations are nice. I enjoy virtual tours of places I will never see. I like this better than the last two HOGs which bored me early on and did not improve. After nearly an hour I am still interested.
No Timer. Renewing Hints that don't take too long. I actually used some Hints when i thought i was looking for tiny items only to be surprised by normal sized or large items! There are some dark spots with items hidden in them. I usually click in dark places to find things hidden there. If you click too much, the curser will go in circles for a second or two. I may have more to say when I get further along but for now I am enjoying this game.
Oh, BTW, I almost quit on the first scene when I saw all the giant objects. I am glad I moved on though there still are a few really big items. Sometimes the largest things are the hardest to find because they are so unexpected.
Bribling, I agree with you - I've finished it first time around and I enjoyed it, for once no messy dialogue and most things easy to find using diamonds as the hint charger was little different. All in all I liked it.

Just finished it on my second try (went belly-up on the "boat" scene the first time -- no more hints and nothing but darkness). All in all, I liked the game, especially the fact that each mini-game is different. The game IS slow, but you don't have to wait for each item to "disintegrate" before clicking on the next one. You can get at least three ahead. I do agree with whoever said they should have told us how many diamonds there are per scene. I think I finished with 177 found -- are there maybe 200 altogether? It would be nice to know. I counted them in some of the scenes, and it seems there are roughly 10 each, but not exactly, and maybe not the same number in each (certainly extras in the jewelry store).
For those of you who want to know this: Some of the hidden objects change on replay, but not many -- maybe 3-5 per game. Nothing relocates, as far as I could tell.
Some problems I found: In the library scene, the item named "sparkplug" turns out to be a toilet plunger. The "dollar" in the church scene is extremely difficult to "collect" (it took several clicks both times I played). And as someone else pointed out, the various balls have various, not always kosher, names (but they're fairly easy to find).
The HOG part of the game gets more difficult as the game goes along, as do the mini-games.
