Keep the mouse button down and trace it. It doesnt have to be perfect, just continuous

weissvixen, LOBE is an online game in the Game Community tab. You might want to check it out. One of the 12 puzzles randomly selected is the number grid. I play LOBE and Riddle O'Day for a short time every day.

asianana wrote:I have to say I wish this game gave people the option to have the timer or to do it without. I do games for relaxation. This game didn't do it. so That darn robot did me in and after much frustration, I stopped playing. I enjoyed most of the puzzles until getting totaly stuck at the robot and those walls! This just my thoughts.
asianana, are you talking about the tin man in the Wizard of Oz book? BFG has added a relaxed mode to Azada: Ancient Magic. You just need to uninstall and download again. Both timed and relaxed mode will be available. If you use the same player name, you'll resume a timed game. If you start a new game with a new player name, you can select relaxed mode.
...Happy Gaming.

Ancient Magic was a little on the easy side. Finished far quicker than I'd hoped. Yet, for my entertainment dollar, this game still bought more than a trip to the multiplex (which only lasts about 100 minutes).

I agree towards the end the timer annoyed me but oh well next time i shall learn to solve quicker! I have not played the first one, but i felt hte ending alittle dissapionting, it just kinda ended so quickly.. but i am interested in the next one to come out whenever it does!!
The first one has more mini games than room puzzles. Still a great game. Check out the demo- you will like it.

Look for "The Detective" threads for the cryptogram, everything from subtle hints to the full solution have been posted on the forum.
If by "robot" you mean the Tin Man, look for "Wizard of Oz" threads. If the last page does not say "Page Complete" then you can't beat the maze.

i loved this game. i found it challenging, but not so hard that i got frustrated and quit. i agree with those who disliked the timer, the option for relaxed should be available. having a timer just grates on my nerves, even though i only actually ran out of time in a few books. really glad they updated it, i might play again after a long enough time period to forget all the answers. or at least some! lol! i have had a little trouble with the cursor, though only in a few places, and not as bad as some describe. i have vista(although after over a year, i still yearn for xp and have serious thoughts about "down"(?!?)grading!) the only real problem i had was with the hints. the few times i needed a hint, after exploring all the pages over and over and not finding anything and starting to get desperate because my timer was getting close to the limit needed for a hint, i would click on the hint button-and be told to explore the other pages! aarrgghh! lol! all-in-all, i thought it was great, and can't wait for the next edition!

I was hoping for more "puzzles" like in Azada. So far, it's more of the hunting back & forth through/between scenes. Those are fun, but I liked doing the actual "puzzles" in Azada better then the "hunting" scenes. So far (it's early) the puzzles have been very easy. I'm sure they will get harder as I go along.
No relaxed mode.
It still gives you that hand slap time penalty if you put something in the wrong place.
Can't say I am in love just yet. I have to play more. It's kind of distracting though with my cursor moving weird.
I now have to go back & replay the Robinson Crusoe book because my time ran out.

jasperboy wrote:I am enjoying this game. The only thing I would change is the fact that once you choose a book, you can't go to another one and then go back to the one you were working on. Also, you need to give more clues as to what we are looking for. I like Titus, but I loose time when I place things in the wrong place. Some of the games are confusing, and you can't get out of them. I think more options for the player would be nice. All in all, I like both Azada and would purchase another one. I to am having problems with a jerky mouse on both games.
I think you can exit out of a book when you're partway through it. I know at one point I had to close the game down to reboot my computer and it saved my progress inside a book. The time-slap penalties aren't that large, are they?
