Update as of 6/14! Work arounds for Flux Family Secrets not launching or exiting to the Game Manag

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your patience while we’ve worked to get to the bottom of why the game is not launching or exiting to the Game Manager on some systems.
The good news is we’ve been able to recreate the issue and it seems to be related to the hardware acceleration settings in Windows.

Here’s how we were able to get Flux Family Secrets: The Rabbit Hole up and running.

In XP:

1. Right-click the desktop and select Properties
2. Click Settings
3. Click Advanced
4. Click the tab marked Troubleshoot
5. In the box labeled Hardware Acceleration click and drag the slider all the way to the right.
6. Click Apply

In Vista/Windows7

1. Right-click the desktop and select Personalize
2. Select Display Settings
3. Click Advanced Settings
4. Click the Troubleshoot tab, then select Change Settings
Please click Continue if a User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears
5. In the box labeled Hardware Acceleration click and drag the slider all the way to the right.
6. Click Ok


*Please note: In some systems these settings cannot be adjusted.

If, for any reason you’re unable to adjust these settings or you find that Flux Family Secrets: The Rabbit Hole please contact Customer Support with a Dr Felix and we’ll continue to work with you to resolve this.

Here are some steps to running your Dr. Felix:

Click here to start Dr. Felix

1. Select 'Run' or 'Save File' to download the Dr. Felix file to your desktop.
2. Next, open the 'DrFelixBigFish' file.
3. Once you’ve agreed to the terms, Dr. Felix will start gathering information.
4. Wait for Dr. Felix to finish, then click the 'Next' button.
5. A .zip file, named 'DrFelixResults' will save to your desktop.
6. Attach the zip file to your support ticket. You don't have to open the .zip file if you don't want to, it's already collected the information it needs.

I want to reiterate that if you're uncomfortable with any of the above steps, just shoot an email to Customer Support or hop in to Live Chat if you're a Game Club Member, and a CS Representative will be more than happy to help you out.

Hi fishies,

We suspect part of this issue may be linked to Firefox so one of the recommendations we're offering is to shut down Firefox before playing your game.

Should you continue to have difficulties, try restarting your computer and launching your game without opening Firefox.
