An Important Announcement Regarding the Content Download Display Issue - February 15, 2018

Hello Everyone,

The teams behind the game have informed the Forum Moderation Team that there is a display issue being seen by players who have downloaded our recent update. I wanted to announce that while this particular display issue appears to show that there is more to download, players will note it disappears relatively quickly. This is because this shouldn't be appearing and we're sorry for any confusion it might be causing.

We definitely don't want it to be uncertain whether all the content needed has been downloaded, and I wanted to assure players that this shouldn't affect our player's game play after getting into the game. We also wanted to let players know that it may take some time before this issue can be resolved. As soon as it is addressed or we are provided further information, it will be included in an update posted here or the announcement of the update that is resolving the issue. Thank you for your patience while those teams work to remove this display issue as quickly as they can.

Hello again Everyone,

Thank you for your patience while our teams investigated some issues behind the game including the announced Content Download Display issue. There has been a fix provided for our players so that this issue should no longer affect players.

Players do not need to visit the app store or download and install an update to receive this fix. Players only need to open the game and allow the content to be downloaded and applied to the game. Afterwards, players should have the content download display issue resolved.

Players who continue to see the issue on PC after this server-side update may need to try to open the game as an Administrator to have these updates occur, and if you'd like to try those steps, please see our article on how below:

Run Game as Administrator (Computer)

For any problems that continue after trying those steps, we recommend contacting our Midnight Castle Support Team with the device type seeing the issue, whether you've been able to open the game to receive the recent update, and what occurs when trying to play after that content update. Players do need to open their game to receive this fix, but we want to follow up if this particular change doesn't seem to help. Our Reps are always happy to help too and will do their best to get back in touch as soon as possible.
