If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. When posting in this thread, it also helps to mention whether you're playing the PC or Mac version of the game.

If you're experiencing glitchyness, slowness, or trouble displaying the game, the following help articles have helped resolve common display issues in the past.

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team.

The forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly. Anyone have SLOW play problem?

From the looks of it, after reading the excellent reviews and zero technical complaints(!), it seems that I am the only one who has a problem. Gardenscapes loads and plays really slow--almost like slow motion. Any ideas? Am working w/ support tech but wondering if anyone has had this problem.

The Game has sent a garden.dat error and closes automaticaly. Before the error was showing the game played with slowness and delay opening new phases of the game. Game defaults to "Thank you for P;aying, do you want to play again?". Over and over. :

HELP !!! Bought this game yesterday, played a bit of it and today it keeps appearing, whatever I'm doing on my computer, writing, forums, playing a game. Very annoying, apart from uninstalling the game, what can I do ???? I know are back on the website (ages to load a game, post in forums, same posts appearing 3 times in a row, etc) but I really would like to stop this game popping up anytime. Thanks.

Just wanted to add my tech problem with this game. I purchased it for my Mom and it was playing just fine on her computer for over 6 months, then one day she tells me "It won't play." So I went to check and sure enough it doesn't load at all, no error message, no nothing, just a few seconds of the loading icon, then nothing.
I contacted customer support and did all the things they suggested:
uninstall/reinstall game
change compatibility/video modes
update flash/shockwave/video drivers
uninstall/reinstall game manager
and more...

still, no dice.

So... I loaded the game on my machine -works like a charm

OK - let's try it from a different game provider. Downloaded a trial on to her machine - NOPE - won't play, unh-uh, no way...

Moral of the story - I have no earthly idea why this thing will not play on a machine that it previously played just fine on and neither does tech support. Oh, did I mention I have a Computer Science Masters degree and still can't figure this thing out. Pretty hard to do without an error message of any sort.
Pity, 'cuz she really loved this game. Oh well, guess I'll get a credit and try to find her another that is similar.
Any suggestions?

purchased 3 games, this being one , no longer works after two weeks.
none of the three are working ...have sent numberous e-mails to help and tech, no one has fixed this problem. solution is not to purchase any further products from you in the future advise my children not to either....

I've played for a few hours with no major problems. Then suddenly everything became rather jerky and slow and when I was required to find three globes it would not accept two of them. I was even penalized for clicking on one too many times. One was accepted with no problem. I used a thermometer for the second and third and even when it was obvious I was clicking on globes (and the clues were red-hot) they were not accepted.

The only solution I found was to click very close to the edge of the globe. But when I do this on other objects they are not accepted.

This has got to be a glitch of sorts. I don't know what to do about it but I don't like clicking on an obviously correct item so many times and being penalized for it.

I've noticed that the play in this game is jerky and slow when compared to the second game. Obviously some improvements were made and I'm happy about that. I've gotten used to the difference in the game play but no player should have to give up clicking on the correct item and forfeit any money he/she would receive (fortunately for me this didn't happen but it was close).

I purchased all three of the Gardenscapes games, I have not been able to play any of them. I sent my computer to my tech guys and they said I am out of luck with this game. Sure hope the rest of you have better luck.
