Having problems with the game

I've just got Redrum. and I keep getting error messages before and after completeing each level. It wont save my progress either, so I have to start over every time.

The messages say MDM zinc V2 error handler. Zinc error zinc has encountered the following error Unable to create directory would you like to open the debug window no ok abort. If I abort I can play the game but it doesnt save progress or anything. I've uninstalled it twice, checked my comp for any problems. When I reinstall, it's the same as before.

All my other games are just fine,including the other 2 I downloaded at the same time, it's just this one game. Anyone got any advice on what to do, or has anyone else got the same problem? Cheers!

Hi, I have been having the same problem. I have contacted tech. support. Am still waiting for solution. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind or something was majorly wrong with my p.c. I'm glad to hear someone else is in the same boat. Not glad, glad, but you know what I mean.The way that I am working around it temporarily is --- when I get the MDM errors and given the option to debug, I hit the enter key and I Immediately get another MDM error box pop up. I hit the enter key again and then I get the screen that tells me to continue. This work around is abit of a pain in the*****!!! At least it does make it playable but crippled. If you find any solution, let us know. I really like the game and it will be great with all the bugs out. As for liking the game, my daughter said that I am "warped and morbid."

Having the same problem with the same error message. Can also continue to play game if I ignore the problem twice until I obtain a continue window. I currently have Windows Vista Home Premium as my operating system. Perhaps the error is linked to this operating system. Is anyone looking into debugging this problem? I don't plan to purchase this game until this problem is fixed. Also others complain that the game is short in duration. Is this complaint valid?

I don't think that it is a short game. It would be better if 'techies' would get the bugs and gremlins out of this one.

According to the chat in the "dissapointed" thread the game is very short.
Cannot tell you personally, as the demo I played kept freezing early in the game, so I uninstalled.
Someone said they almost finished the game during the demo.

I have the exact same problem as you. I contacted tech support but did not get an answer yet.
I'm really disappointed. It looks like it could be fun.
Although with all the comments I've read saying it's a really short game, I'm not to sure I would buy it.
Sure hope they resolve this problem soon.

OK.....I'm not having error problems, but my problem is, I can't find the menu to get out of the game if I want to quit playing for awhile. I click onto the "Dead Diary" thinking this would get me to the Main Menu, but I just get the previous window. How do I get to the Main Menu to get me out of the game? I've been doing the ol' "CTRL, ALT, DELETE thing to get out of it.

Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

Click on the pause. You should be able to go from there.

i can finish the game but when i try to start again it goes to the end of the game again it won"t start again what is wrong

Hey I cant play this game again either. You click restart but it only takes you back to level 70 which is the end of the game. Was this a one shot game? If so, Refund please!!
