Apparently there are a lot of us who are prompted to download Flash Player 8 when we already have 10. Then we get an error message. I hope someone can get around to fixing this one.

Played half hour of the demo on this one tonight. I thought this would be more of an arcade type game but instead it is more like a time management game. You play a doctor in an emergency room. Patients come in and you must match them at the registration desk by the color of their shirts in order to achieve chaining bonuses. Some (rare) don't need surgery at all. Most do. You also get chaining bonuses for treating the same color shirts on the matching operating table or for doing the same actions in a row (2 x registration desk, for example). When it comes time for surgery, you can let the doctor do it, or you can try for bonus points by doing it yourself. If you do it yourself, you are solving the ailments from the board game Operation - each is a mini game centered on the ailment in question. Water on the knee (catching raindrops in a bucket), Tennis elbow (you must hit tennis balls while balls & pineapples are tossed your way), Monkey wrench (this was the easiest and was basically like the shell game), a few others but most of the time I let the doctor do it. It is more profitable to do the mini games but they get kinda old fast. As you get more money, you move up the ranks from Intern to Doctor to Specialist, etc. You also can buy upgrades but most are extremely expensive so you cannot afford them for a while. Game is not bad - it would be entertaining to play for a while but I just wasn't fascinated enough with it to keep playing. I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I don't know whether it's the nurse in me, but I really loved this game. At times it was really challenging, referring so many people out because I just didn't have time to do anything with them! It gets a lot easier though as you gradually purchase (very expensive!) upgrades.

The only thing that I didn't like about this one is the fact that I had to play just about every procedure mini game to make enough money to get to the specialist level. Although the mini games are all different, it gets tiresome doing them over, and over, and over again.

Good game though, I'm glad I bought it
