48 puzzles---18 hos. That says it all. If you like puzzles, this is for you because that is mostly all you are going to be doing. I would have bought the game otherwise. The Mayan theme was different for a change, but this is totally imbalanced. Take a look at the walkthrough and you can see it for yourself.

Graphics were conducive to the story...could have been better and more defined, but were fair and tolerable. The tool box with the "shakes" was annoying at times to me. Dealing with so many symbols became monotonous after awhile. Game play flowed easily...not too much going back and forth collecting inventory.

It is a disappointment that the making of this was so obsessive with incorporating as many puzzles as are in this game. It overwhelms everything else that is supposed to be going on and takes away from the enjoyment.

Another one bites the dust~

I am disappointed in this game. Too many puzzles and very few HO's. The puzzles actually interrupt the story line. The graphics could be better. I cannot say much for the music as I do not remember it....if there was music...I must not have been impressed.I bought it without trying the demo....which I know better, but I have been looking for a game, any game, that is REALLY GOOD, and so far lately the games are so so at least in my opinion. Perhaps it is time for me to leave BF and try another site. SO SAD!!!

Based on the Demo.
This was an immediate buy for me.
The graphics were beautiful. The characters and locations were beautifully drawn, beginning right from the opening scene.
The soundtrack was very well done, with soft beautiful music and appropriate special effect sounds. The voice overs were clear and realistic.
The puzzles were very interesting. They were fun to play. It was easy to figure out what the objectives were from the excellent instructions for each game. I did use the skip button several times when the puzzles were taking to long for me to finish.
The hidden object scenes were fun, fun, fun, and I enjoyed every one of them.
This is an amazing, adventurous game with plenty of puzzles and hidden object scenes. The story line was extremely interesting and the Demo ended in a real cliffhanger.

Mad Head Games seems to be the only developer spitting out new series games with fresh ideas lately. None of the other devs have offered anything new for quite some time, they just keep adding cookie cutter versions to the end of a long-running series, while Mad Head delivers entirely new introductory series games. Wanderlust, Adam Wolfe, Dawn of Hope, Donna Brave, Fright Chasers, and most recently, Moonsouls! Some work, some don't, but you gotta give 'em credit for being one of the few devs who even tries!

I wasn't expecting to enjoy Wanderlust as much as I did, but it's a solid game throughout, without a lot of ups and downs after the demo like a lot of games nowadays have. I loved the way they wrapped up the storyline towards the end, and that I wasn't left with more questions than answers. There are 4 Chapters + a Bonus Chapter which is a continuation of the storyline, but I can't really indulge further, without spoiling the main game plot. If you like alien themed games, Mayan themed or games related to the Amazon, you'll love this game because it has it all!

The Collector's Edition has 10 Achievements, 30 Collectible Spirals, 18 re-playable Hidden Object Scenes, 18 Morphing Objects within the HOP's, an Ultimate Puzzle, 7 Character Pictures, 4 Wallpapers, Concept Art pictures that unlock once you visit the scene, 10 Music Soundtracks, 4 Main Chapters + Bonus Chapter and a built in Strategy Guide enjoy!

We interrupt this Adventure to bring you a puzzle - and another - and another - and another - and another. That pretty much sums up the game play.

Had there been fewer puzzles it might have been an interesting adventure game. Far fetched of course - but this is game-land. Colours were bright and attractive and there were many scenes to visit.

If only I hadn't been tripped up at every turn by a puzzle.

Not my favourite game but if you're into puzzles, this is for you. I'm all puzzled out.
