It's not often that we get a good old fashioned HOG and Road Trip has a Hidden Object type to please just about anyone! There are 20 different locations, and each time you revisit the location, you get a different type of HO, such as Listed Items, Scrambled Word finds, Silhouetted Shape finds, Riddle Descriptions, Flashlight Mode or Words that are missing Vowels. Each scene has a hidden Interstate Sign which unlocks Unlimited Mode Silhouetted Shape and Listed item finds.

After each HO game, you get to play a mini-game of Spot the Difference, Mahjong, Blocks (move blocks to get the key block to opening lock) or a Match 3 game to break up the monotony. The scenes are located in interesting places, such as the Grand Canyon or Mount Rushmore, even a camping site, and the graphics are really good, but like most HOG games, the items to find are strangely well blended and difficult to spot at times! I really enjoyed this one, it brings back some comforting memories and it's perfect for some R&R, so grab a cup of coffee, relax, and enjoy your Monday afternoon!

Just a fun relaxing game. I love puzzles a lot so really enjoy that part. I played the first scene so much I have the items memorized and where they are. Just looking for the shields as 5 are in each level;/scene I could only find 2 in the first scene but after i played the next scene I found how they can be disguised. If you get tired of one scene you can skip a head and then go back. i used a coupon.

I'm THRILLED with this game because it reminds me of the old Vacation Quest games (which won't load properly on my Win 10 computer anymore). I wonder if it's the same developer? Those games were the perfect way to relax with beautiful hidden object scenes, and this game is the same. It's a buy for me, and I hope there are MORE from this dev in the future!

Must admit bought game from reviews only, love straight out hidden objects, didn't bother trying demo. Wondered what I had done, old grey cells were so confused trying to find all shields, thanks to you all, penny finally dropped, what a great game, I am going to truly enjoy this one.

If you love old fashioned, relaxing HO games then this is for you! I only played the demo for five minutes before buying it. I'm glad I did. The graphics are beautiful and I've only just started-but get this game!

I can't click on things. Mouseclicks work in menu but not in game itself?

I've been enjoying this game very much! But I have to say the SAME music over and over and over in EVERY scene is irritating! Wish each scene had a different tune! I have muted the music.

I am liking this straight HOG a lot and am currently using it as my play a couple rounds on and off again games. For old timers here, it reminds me of the Spin Cap games of yore. It is challenging. There's a timer, but it just runs. It doesn't make you start over or axe stars on your status. The faster you complete a scene the points you get, but you aren't really competing with anyone, so it's not a big deal. Just straight up HOG goodness!

One of the songs they use sounds like a riff from the twist dance contest song in Pulp Fiction so I have that in the back of my mind a bunch of the time, which makes me smile.

Happy gaming!
