I'm not sure. I looked at the dropdown menu for Sort By and I don't remember Installation Date being there before, but maybe I had missed that.

Mine just got updated and I lost my desktop icon and just had a blue square on the screen, but on reboot it was ok.

I noticed yesterday that when I started mine up it started installing something new, but obviously didn't register with me as I only remembered when I read this.

I just downloaded another game and got the updated game launcher. I noticed that the interface on "my custom order" sorting is more intuitive now. Haven't noticed any other changes yet.

That's the newest change I have too. I like it - you can sort your games several different ways - easier to find them.

Version 1.2.5.17 (as seen in the lower left corner of the game launcher) has a drop down box near the upper right that says "Sort by". That drop down box has been there several versions now. Most of the time I keep mine set to "Most Recently Played". When my son visits I switch to "Date Installed" so we can find the new games. Since they added the "Most Recently Played" sorting, I haven't bothered with "My Custom Order" other than learning how to do it.

Hi all, noticed that there was a new version, but it does not want to work for me. When i try to download a game it keeps downloading the new version. Anyone have advise, sent an email to support but waiting for a response? Driving me crazy as I can't get my daily fix of BF games.

Well- I can't determine what was changed. Luckily, no problems for me though. I hope those of you with trouble, get a resolution soon.

Apart from the faster download and greater sorting options the amount of space taken up by each individual title has reduced (ie the 'green' area is narrower).

I tried to upgrade and all I get is "not connected to Big Fish".. try again later... haven't been able to download daily games for 3 days now.

I hope someone reads this since I cannot locate where to create a new post, this BFG game client stinks!, I have gone several yrs with NO spam whatsoever! as soon as I get one game having to create an account with BFG to get the full version, now I average 20-30 spam a day from different things.. and THIS is the ONLY thing I have downloaded! and If I paid to get the cd of the one game, why do I need the game manager to PLAY it? I dont need a game manager for one game! now i po'd, $14.99 for a game I can't play unless I install their adbloatware that comes with it!

It looks like this thread is super duper old so we're going to go ahead and lock it up just to avoid confusion.
It sounds like you are having some problems that could be worked out if you go ahead and contact Customer Support.
You can contact Customer Support by clicking on the green envelope  to the right of the screen, and then clicking " Contact Us" at the bottom left of the next page to reach the online web form. To submit the web form, first click " Check for Answers" to visit the Help pages, and if you still can't find an answer, you will then be able to click the " Submit" button to send your ticket.
If you're a Big Fish Game Club member, you can connect to Live Chat for real-time support through your " My Game Club" page. Chat hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
