Down in the basement, how do you get down the hole ???

could you be a little more precise...? Cause I do not know if you meant the well or when you are just entering the basement....or?

So, you are in the basement, and you just freed the little girls? Is this the place where you are?

I'm trying to get to the well, I think, I understand that you have to go through the basement of the Toy Store, I have my long stick but ????

Yes, I have freed the girls and I went to the base of the well but I can't get anywhere so my understanding is that I have to go through the basement hole,
my curser is not telling me how, I think I'm doing something wrong. This games is fantasic it makes you think but in the same aspect you get very frustrated

You're at the base of the well? Got through the door?

No, that one of my frustrations, I play with it almost get all the lights going then there off - I keep going back to it give myself a break

If you are at the base of the well, take the stick from inventory and place it on the bucket.

It takes practice but once you figure out where they jump at those 3 spots you can get it. Once you have that done you can use the phone. If you call the number you found it should open the door.

where is the door @ the base of the well??? have been all over that well did not see a door???

The door to get to the base of the well is by the phone. One floor up from the circuit puzzle.

I do have my stick / but all there is @ the well is the rope??? and my curser is not finding anything else

Hit the rope with the stick and it should release the bucket from being stuck. Then you can go back up to the top of the well to pull the bucket up.

So you have the door open? Have already gotten through it? The bucket is on the far side of the hole. You'll need rope to get down the hole.

OK, I know that door put I guess I have to figure out the lights before it will open
