Cradle of Rome - Profiles file - where is it?

Okay, the tip is to go into the profiles file and change the number of lives you have. Can someone please help me find where to do this?

I found it but i can't change it without more help. can someone please paste the exact line of wording and past the where line. I get killed at about 72 and I will never get to finish the game with a fix. thank you

I need help, too! After a year of trying I can't get past level 80-something, then get thrown back to the last level. I need detailed instructions on how to change the profile. Thanks!

I am fairly new to the game. My only complaint so far is that my mouse seems to move slower in the full version than in the test version.

However I have come across some useful hints. Not sure if you can post actual URLs here, but instructions on how to increase the number of lives in the Profiles file is at Gamezbo site and there are so more useful hints on how to increase points etc at meryl.net under the review of the game there (dated 2007/03). Hope that helps.
