Where do i get thistleroot?

I've got the beast hair but i'm wondering where's the thistleroot?
also where do i get better armor and weapons then happily ever after???

Thistleroot can only be found in the Woodlands southwest of the Shaenlir entrance.
Most of the very best weapons and armor are either stored in the goody caves or can be found scattered throughout Eridor.

Which one wolfs or what?
