objects that will not stay in place

Really like this game! It is not to difficult, but I can't get the objects to stay in place. for instance the letters on the boxes in the the post office. Had tons of trouble with the acorns. Is there a trick rreally need some new ideas.Love these games!!!!!!!!!!

WElcome magdee, I think the trick is to put your curser in the space not the item, try that see how you go, good luck

I have tried everything in trying to get the acorns to stay in place. I tried putting the curser in place, but, nothing works. I am getting really frustrated with this game. Wish there was a place to get out of the puzzle part.

Grnmeadow Try working with just one acorn. Pick up acorn and estimate size. Move cursor to bench and see if you can find acorn shadow that is same size. Be sure cursor tip is in the shadow of the acorn ... not the acorn itself. Then click. If it goes back to original position, pick it up and place in a different spot. Repeat until it "sticks" in one place. Repeat steps for next acorn. etc.

The acorn puzzle was one of the main reasons I didn't purchase this game. I spent at least 20 minutes trying to get the acorns to stick in place on the bench and finally gave up. (I was down to my last acorn literally!)

Welcome to the pond goldenpixie1 Sorry to hear that you are having a problem with the acorns. I had the same problem but as cesse has mentioned it is the shadow that you have to pay attention to. I also found that they seemed to work better if you went from the largest to the smallest ones in that order, rather than trying to place which ever one you find.
