game won't let me back into bonus game

After I finished the game the first time, I was having a good time in bonus, but the next time I tried to play the bonus it said I have to finish the game first. So, I played the game again and finished it, and it still won't let me play the bonus even after I finsihed the game twice, What gives?

When you are finished and you go to the main menu you click on the sparkly part of the clock tower face. That should get you into the bonus game play.
