I suspect you encountered the same situation that I have. I finished the first two levels and received an access violation error code at the point where I moved the golden head down to unlock the next scene. When I reopened the game, the golden head was gone and I could not advance. I followed the help steps on this web site:
uninstall and reinstall the game (that didn't work)....clear my Internet Explorer cache (that didn't work). I tried installing the game from the Run command instead of Saving it first. I've tried to advance the game probably 6 times and the farthest in I can get is where you pour the oil into the fountain and set it aflame. I've never been able to get past that point without getting the access violation.
I sent a help letter to Customer service 4 days ago, but am still waiting for a response.
So, I don't have any advice for you, but wanted you to know you're not alone in this.
Perhaps someone else has advice about something I haven't tried?

I have the same problem. I always download a trial version if available to see if it's compatible with my pc and to see if it's really as good as the description reads. I got through my trial version and liked it well enough to buy it, then the second level after paying for it, I got an error (can't remember what it said) and then the window froze up, sure enough, when I went back in, I was back at the door that needed unlocked with the gold head, but no gold head to do it with. I tried going back to the previous room to see if I could collect the head again, but it was locked up the way it does when you finish a room.
I tried all that above too, except I haven't reinstalled, just uninstalled. I hate to think that I would have to start at the beginning again anyway, but I really hate to think that I'm screwed out of $6.99 for an additional 5 minutes of play!
I did get an auto reply that my question has been received and that I should hear something with in (72 hours I think).

I fitted all the pieces in. Then Nefertiti showed up as a bright outline. Four items flashed now and again around the top of the stand behind Nefertiti. I could move nothing else. Am I at the end of the GAME??? What's going on here? Re-reading the Log book it talks about four items flashing and so forth, that helped not at all. Hope someone has an idea what is going on here or should I demand my money back. Frank
this is the level where I had problems too. I don't think it is the end of the game, I mean it could be, but if it is, there is still something wrong with the game because I still had items to place somewhere and when loading, them images look all distorted at first, it also changes my text to a larger size until it loads. There is definitely something wrong with the game, and the bad thing is that they do not give refunds or credit for screwed up games because you are suppose to try the trial before you buy.
well, what about those of us who did, and found it to be compatible with our pcs, but just wasn't at the point yet where the game screws up?
I can't believe we're all doing something wrong, it has to be a bad game and should probably be taken down until they can work the kinks out of it.

Frank, this is a "Simon Says" puzzle which means it repeats sequences that have to be played in the order shown. There will be 5 sequences to complete.
Began by getting a large piece of paper to draw 4 circles - 2 top spaced out
and 2 bottom space them out.
Number the circles: top row circle is #1 and next circle is #2
0 #1 0 #2
Bottom row do the same thing bottom circle is #3 and circle is #4
0 #3 0 #4
Now, when the lights go on, write down the number sequence on each circle.
The last sequence will require to remember 7 light positions.
After completing the five correct sequences, you can move on to the last phase.
It is a good idea to keep a pad of paper next to the hidden objects puzzle games for taking notes.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

Ok, I downloaded the drivers, etc that the tech support told me to try, but they didn't help. The screen still looks distorted when opening and the game freezes up a lot, and this is after I uninstalled and redownloaded it. Fortuanately, the problems I experienced were mainly in the last couple of levels of the game. While I liked the game, I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known before hand that there annoying issues with it. Let's hope they "rebuild" it soon.
Having said all of that, the parts of the game that actually worked, were great.
If you like the "spot the differences" mini games, you will definitely like this. It seems there were as many of those games as there were hidden objects. I am not a big fan of spot the differences, but these weren't that bad.
There is one thing that REALLY annoyed the heck out of me, and that was the automatic hints! The game doesn't give you a chance to look for something more than a few seconds before it makes a "sparkle" over the object you need to click on. I thought this was just because I was playing it in "easy" mode the first time I downloaded it, so the second time I downloaded it, I clicked on the "hard" mode and I couldn't tell any difference and I couldn't find a way to turn this off, to me there was no challenge, but then I like the games where you have limited instructions and must figure things out for your self.

I am stuck trying to open the chest. There was a crowbar found in one of the previous scenes, but after I found all the objects I could not access the crowbar.
Anyone have any ideas.

I have the pharoah shooting arrows, I can place the flame, the lizard, all items except I cannot figure out where the ankh goes! I have gone around and around the whole screen with it and it doesn't seem to fit anywhere! Help someone please!
If you look in the forum for the game Curse of the Pharaoh: Napoleon's Secret and look at the topic World 9 Game - Can't get past the game you will see the discussion and answers for the ankh placement. Here is a link to that topic.
