Can't find fisherman

I can't find the fisherman. I have read previous threads. Apparently I need to solve floorboard puzzle first, but also need to examine a photo from Adam. Who is Adam? I'm reading back through my walk-through notes and can't fine mention of this person. (I have been stuck at this point for a week!) Thanks

You will find Adam's name on the back of a photo you get at Langers Gold.

Have you found the Watch and solved the puzzle? After you do that, go home and look at the phone book again. (Do this again after you visit Langers Gold to get Adams Address)

Hi, and thanks for posting. I'm checking my notes, and I have solved the clock puzzle, gotten photo of toddler, gone to Langers and Adam's, taken photo from Adam, and also , i think, given the gardener the glass with the plant in it. However, I have no crowbar in my inventory. I'm wondering if I'm done something backwards? I think I'm going to have to go back several scenes in the game to try and fix this!

You cant find the crowbar until the gardener tell you where it is. Not sure what you need to do- You should check justadventure. They have a walkthrough

There is a glitch in the game. I played on my own until I got stuck. I had played slightly out of order according to Len Green's walkthough, so I played it from the start again, according to the walkthrough. When I went to the Herb Garden the 3rd (or whatever time) to talk to the gardener when he's fishing, he wasn't there. I went forward four steps into the garden, saw the tree with the bench around it, heard the sounds of fishing, and no gardener.

Since I couldn't talk to the gardener, when I went back outside there was no chance to look in the water and get the crowbar.

In other words, I'm locked up. I've looked at other places along the riverbank and still can't see a place to use the fishing rod and metal detector, because the gardener isn't there.

What should I do? Any ideas, write to made_maka @ hotmail.com because I'm not sure I'll be able to find this forum again. I did get the game from BigFish though.

No glitch -- it turns out I had not investigated the floorboards creaking in the secret room. Once I did that things were okay. Thanks to the poster who figured it out!
