What features do you especially like and what gameplay elements annoy you?

My only real gripe is that they do not have an extra bonus level where you can play without a timer and set your own goals.

Likes:Think it would be good for kids and young teens, they would have to pay attention to whats going on. Patience is needed and I think kids nowadays need that.
]Dislikes: To much to think about for me, chararcters to small to distinguish them on screen.

Likes: Straightforward gameplay; a game that's easy to learn, but requires some thought and perseverance to get good times. I enjoyed the trial so much that I bought the game immediately.

Dislikes: I'm so addicted to this game that I neglect other things I should be doing!

I have turned myself inside out trying to get the gold up to 250 on level 12 and I can't. And they won't upgrade the market to 4 stars either till later. So right now...I don't like it!

Upgrade the market as far as you can, then put as many merchants as you can on the market. That takes you over 200, Then put some merchants on the lumber mill. That will take you to 250 gold. Merchants generate gold wherever you put them, not just from the market. Hope this helps.

I just finished the entire game, what I love about it is everything, This is my favorite game to date. It is challenging enough to make you think.

What I dont like about it is, bonus rounds without timer. I also dont like that it is hard to remember what everything is for such as academy, ect. So much to keep track of. I too am addicted to this game Thanks can't wait for next one. Plz hurry and Thanks for such a fun game

I loved this game. It was challenging. I am through everything except the last bonus round that is killing me over and over...It is hard to remember what the different buildings and landmarks do and it would be helpful to put that in the description when you click on them. I too am looking forward to a second colony game...hope it comes soon! Thanks

Hello! I have played this game every night since I purchased it. So far I am addicted as well to this game, but Iike games like this and the Sims. No negatives up till now-I did very well until I got to level 17. I finally passed it but it took me atleast 5 nights-every night until I read a post to get past it. It is all about the order of the tasks.

Does anyone else really hate the woman who comes onto the screen saying 'You're running out of time. Please hurry' ?

At that moment you're trying like mad to finish it and she states the obvious and distracts you - which makes it even less likely that you will finish in time.

Good point Suziewife, I hate it when she says that too, and then I fumble around trying to get rid of her speech bubble which really distracts me.
Another thing which frustrates me is when you click on a building to see its points upgrade status and accidentally pick up a worker instead, also when you click on the town hall to bring up the selection of workers I think you should be able to click on the Town Hall again to make it disappear rather than have to move off the Town Hall and click the ground. Sometimes I miss and click a worker I didn't want instead.
Apart from these small quibbles, I have to confess, I'm addicted.

I'm all done and I still want to play. I've played it through twice now. Anyone have a clue when the sequel is coming out? I definitely think it needs a sandbox level, as others have pointed out. They should have that in Forgotten Lands: Second Colony or whatever they call it.

This is one game I truly love playing. It takes a lot of strategy and a lot of thought. The one thing that gets me is that once in a while I destroy things when I wanted to upgrade. Sometimes, I wish there was an undo.

But, in a game like this you can get everything you want and it adds to the challenge of the game. I guess the only thing is to have the "Demolish" key a little further away from the "Upgrade" key.

Thanks for the games and the challenges that come with it.

Like: Truly challenging without being too frustrating. Sometimes requires rethinking the strategy and going at it from a whole new direction.

No fighting, killing, maiming, supernatural beings or phenomena, or moral turpitude. THANK YOU! I get tired of buying a game and getting half way through only to find something morally objectionable prompting me to delete the game in disgust.

Dislike: Very minor, but it's hard to remember the resource requirements for each building. Guess I should write it down! Major complaint is that there's STILL no sequel!!

If you really love this game, then try My Kingdom For The Princess and Aztec Tribe.
