Hi All,

I love this game, am half way through it at this moment.

What you need to do is click around the screen, when you see a group of sparkles(for want of a better explanation), click, then you will see what you need to find.

At the bottom of the screen there are pics of 'locks', this shows you how many separate groups of items you need to find, so once you have completed one group, clack around again to find the next group. Sometimes, you need items from one group to help you with the next group and so on on the same screen.

I have found the puzzles quite easy, but a very well thought out game

One of the tricks I learned while playing a similar game, is to click around until you find an article your cursor 'grabs'. Once it's grabbed, move it around the screen until one of those item arrays appears. Drop it off and then continue filling the array. You may not have noticed, but once you've filled an array, sometimes there is an object left behind that you can grab and use to find the next array.

I desperately hope you know what I mean by array. That's the 4 or 5 spokes with pictures at their ends that pop up here and there.

I love this game. Can't remember the name of the other one that uses the arrays. It had a woman looking for her father all over the world. Think it had either crystal or portal or both in the title. That was a great HOG too.

Welcome to the Pond all 3 of you: lineck...Bootsie...MoreOver .... Hope you are enjoying yourselves here at the pond.

Lineck - Bootsie and MoreOver gave you excellent advise .... so there isn't much more I can add. Once you get use to the way it's played, it will be a lot easier going for you. I really enjoyed this game too. One of my favorites from Octoberfest...

That was The Mystery of the Crystal Portal, MoreOver. *Very* similar.

They both use that "container object" game mechanic - you find objects and need to place several into a container object. These are not always actual containers, like boxes, but sometimes are. When you have found something (and I agree, just click around the room on likely looking things) it will stick to your cursor. As you move that around the room, not clicking, that will drop it, just move the mouse around, the container object will open and show an array of all the objects you need to find for it. If you wait long enough on a scene a container object will sparkle to reveal where it is. If you click on it, even without anything stuck to the cursor, it will open and show what you need to find.

It's a bit fiddly and takes some getting used to, but it does add a level of interest I think.

Hello everyone! I just thought I’d pop in and let you know that I’ve gone ahead and moved this discussion to the forum that we have set up for Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold ™.

Happy gaming!

Is anyone having problems with the under water scene? Cant seem to get started there! The items in this game are hard to see as far as graphics go, I think? Anyone else having that problem?

When inserting the ruins, listen for a sound (a sort of loud plink).

The runes are divided into 4 catagories-

green for earth- trees stc
red for fire- volcanos etc
blue for water- rain
white for wind- tornado

put the symbols that fit into eact catagory in the correct colord section.

Hope this helps

MUCH THANKS MoreOver and Poodlebear! I hae been clicking my poor index finger into a splint trying to find the object that the array is stuck too! I did not know you could 'stick' an object to your cursor and then 'float' the object over the screen to find the array. When you start out do you have to just keep clicking until something sticks, or is there a clue how to find your first object or array?

I don't remember seeing sparkles at the beginning of a scene. I also didn't tumble to the fact that when I have been clicking for the last 20 minutes that the sparkles were giving me a clue. I know, it sounds dumb, but in some of the pictures there is light shining in and the sparkles blend in with the motes of light like small floating flecks in the light. My sanity has just been saved! I really love hidden object games because I can be "busy" with my hands, but pretty much my mind is free to pray or work on different things.

MUCH THANKS to Prpidva! I have been stuck on the turtle for days. I couldn't figure out what the objects stood for. I thought I was looking for elements represented by colors and runes so I wasn't too off, but I couldn't figure out the 4th element. I haven't seen that represented in games before. I have been coming back to TS Gold and playing for awhile trying to work it out, and then giving it a rest and going to another game while I kept trying to figure out the puzzle in my head. I feel so dumb. If I had just gone with my instinct on the first 3 then I could have gotten the last set by default though I might not have gotten what they stood for. DUH! But this is why I do games. Challenges my brain. I'm disabled and don't get out much so gaming is an outlet for me.

Again thanks to everyone! I have met some of the nicest, helpful people on Big Fish forums so I like coming here for a hint now and then. It drives me nuts if I get stuck in a game and I can't finish because I'm missing just one little thing that would help me get past the road block without having to to look at a walk through and coming away with much more information than I wanted because it feels like cheating when I don't figure it all out by myself.

God Bless You Everyone

Beth
