Reset number of rings if start new game

I was hoping someone could help me with Ricochet Infinity.

I believe I own all the games (or previous versions) of Ricochet - and with all the others if you play a level a second time (after losing all your ships the first time) your score and ring status starts over. With this version - your score starts over but NOT the ring status. So if you got all the rings any time in the past - any previous games - you can not get them again. Obviously this make get an extra ship virtually impossible because the rings do not reset when you are starting a new game.

I have not tried starting a new player - but if I do then I would restart the tutorial and lose all previous high scores and other history.

Any ideas fellow players?

Infinity does have several surprises the other levels do not have, but is also more difficult than Ricochet recharged or the other previous levels.

And the answer is while in the previous versions of Ricochet the RINGS determined when you rec'd an extra ball, in Infinity extra balls are based on score.
