Has anyone else notice?

I am nuts about this game bu just wanna ask one question. If this game takes place in the 20's, why are there post it notes on the desk?

Wow!! I totally didn't think twice about the post-it notes being there!! I use them all of the time and they just looked so "normal" there. LOLOL
