Cannot start game

When I try and start casebook, it brings up an updater program, but it says the update servers are not responding, and won't start the game

Welcome to the pond! I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if it'll help. Here's a great help article for reference:

If that doesn't fix the problem, you may want to check for any updates available for your computer:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen
