Testing the formula on the roses

In investigation 11? you have to test the liquid you made that had the mushroom dust in it. I got the spray, sprayed each from right to left (number five down to number one) and they grew but then went back to dormant. I only sprayed one or two times on each. Then I clicked on number 5 rose (from left to right) and it will get tiny leaves, but then they drop off and nothing more happens, I can't get any of the other four to do anything after they grow and then die, There is nowhere else to go on the map but I guess I could go to clues and come back. Frustrating!

Just keep spraying the buds
