The game froze on me three times. I had to ctrl alt delete to get out and then all my progress was lost of couse. Is there an issue with the game? Will it be fixed anytime soon? I have unistalled until this is resolved

This game has done this several times to me as well. It just freezes up and I have to hit control, alt, delete to shut down and an error pops up.

level 39

[Post New]by kimbill123 on Nov 20, 08 10:50 AM
I'm on level 39 and it's extremely difficult. I was hoping someone might have a secret or tip to earn $12million on cash while only being able to build 16 painted chalets on all 16 lots. the rent is low and I'm wondering how to raise $12 million

I've been wondering the same thing. The first time, I just build the chalets and that got me less than 2 million. The second run through I tried building a workshop, building mostly chalets but also 4 chateaus and that got me to around 4 million, but not all 16 chalets (I think I was at 13 when it ended). I don't see how you get the funds to make it through, since you can't use the great fallback of selling chateaus, or, really, anything. There's nothing else you can build and keep there. The one nice thing about the previously mentioned strategy is that I could inspect houses and that inspection stayed even once the workshop was gone. Any advice would be great!

I just completed level 39...its tough. the first thing i did was build a workshop, trained 2 workers, and bought just enough materials to build and sell a hacendia. then i built a sawmill, trained 2 more workers, got effeciency training, built and sold a chateau. with that money i bought a lot of materials and started building and up grading chateaus. build 13 and buy all property available. keep buying supplies as your money increases. after 13 chateaus are built, then i built a chalet and painted it--inspect every property. once you get close to 10.5 million, then train more workers and start demolishing chateaus and building chalets; you will have to buy back the first chalet you built too...you should have enough materials in reserve. the last thing to do is demolish the sawmill, build chalet, then demolish workshop and build last chalet. make sure to inspect every time you build. you don't have to upgrade the chalets, just the chateaus. get enough workers to be able to work on several properties at once.

This is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be ... I've given up trying to get expert .. I'll settle for just getting through!

I have been able to get EXPERT on all but 4 levels (39, 42, 44, and 45).
I see posts on level 39.
Does anyone have advise for levels 42, 44, and 45?

Does anything happen when you get EXPERT on all 45 levels?

***********************************UPDATE**************************************
Thanks to earlier posts I was able to complete levels 39, 42, and 44 by
using the multiple banks with advisers strategy.

Now the only level I do not have EXPERT on is level 45.....UGH

Any advise?????

Build-a-lot 3: Problem saving progress

[Post New]by csantowych on Nov 29, 08 6:21 AM
I keep having problems when I exit my game.
It saves my user profile, but deletes my progress, forcing me to start over every time.
If I exit a level and return to the main menu, I can continue where I left off, but once I close out the game, it's lost.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix (or any suggestions)? I've never run against this before on any of my games.
Thanks!

I'm having trouble with Level 28....can anybody help? I start bulding hacienda's get them up to 3 stars, then start buying everything I can..but the blueprint for the hospital is $100,000 then 9 workers, build the hospital and raise $200,000,000....I've been close a couple of times but usualy run out of time before I can get all the money..oh and also no negative houses which I think there are at least 4..one being a hacienda that costs $240,000 and then has to be restored...I've done this level about 20 times and can't seem to finish...I've tried upgrading hacienda's and then selling them...but just can't get it done in time...any help out there?
thanks

I Love this game but I can't get through the level where you first build the haciendas (might be level 17), along with 4 painted venitians and 5 empty lots. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing I'm doing is fast enough to finish. Any hints would be helpful, please.
Thanks!!

I read where some were having a problem with this game freezing up on them. I am having this problem now. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, checked my Direct X driver to be sure it is updated and nothing works! Were there ANY answers to this?
