technical issues for Pirate Solitaire - Mac version

Just downloaded the game. Got the following when I tried to play.

Pirate Solitaire v1.00 - The Revills Games ©2010

Cannot create shared data folder /Users/Shared/The Revills Games/Pirate Solitaire/

Tried it twice.

Figured out what is wrong. The game will only run in the applications folder. I never put games there, so I guess I'm out of luck.

Even though it wouldn't play and never created a preference file I still have somehow run out of time, so I can't even try it there.
