As I love Hidden object games I downloaded Detective Stories: Hollywood this morning. It seem to download fine but as the game started my screen split and half was black and the other had lines through it like it hadn't fully downloaded. So I uninstalled and tried again, and again it looked like it downloaded fine until I got to the screen to begin the game. Everything was black and I was playing the game without being able to see the screen because I wanted to try and see if it installed and just wasn't coming through on by computer or if it didn't download at all. So I clicked and got the X's as wrong guess but I couldn't see the screen to look for objects needed. Is there anything I could do to fix this problem?
Thanks

I too am having a problem with this game. It freezes my computer on the opening scene. Any suggestions? I've uninstalled and redowloaded and it does not solve the problem.

I wish this game had a relaxed time mode. I'm stuck in a screen where you have to put back 30 items in 59 seconds and I just can't seem to get any closer than 4 left when time runs out. I've even tried to use a different mouse than usual, but no luck.

stuck on scales. How do you balance the third one= weights, marbals, rocks and those darn pearls. Forced to do it. It asks if you want to do it again, if you put no it makes you do whole chapter again. I have no choice but do it or forget about playing this game again. These times are not fair eaither. If you are having trouble the game should give you more time after a few tries at it.

I am stuck on changing all of the red arrows to green for the water. This game is irritating. Objects too small!

I am also stuck on this puzzle. I tried logic--now I'm just guessing. Help on this would be much appreciated.

I can't get this game to play. I installed it several times but it keeps hanging up on the first scene - my cursor won't move and I have to shut down the computer just to exit the game. Is there a fix or a patch or am i doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!

Is there a solution for restoring power to the library? Not sure I'm getting what needs to be done. Get a lot of the bulbs turned on (pure luck I think!), but continue to run out of time.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Never thought I was slow using my mouse until the Library in this game proved me wrong! What teenager thought that us older ones could place 30 objects exactly on the mark in 59 seconds!?!?!?!?! Big Fish think of our sanity and give us a relaxed mode fix or extend the time to 2 minutes at least!!!

If this is the puzzle I think it is, try to make multiple connections at the top. Then, connect down to one at the bottom. By doing that it will light multiple lights. You'll need to make connections 3 times for each column to light up to the top light.
...Hope this makes sense. Good Luck
