I'm by no means any good at this game but I just passed level 18 after a few tries. I immediately built chalets - 4 or 5 of them, upgraded them to 3 stars, built a few cottages and a ventian or two. I made sure they were all painted. My plan was to boost the income up with rent to be able to afford the blueprint and the materials for the bank. I actually built the bank almost at the end. Be sure to buy an isolated lot to save for the bank site because the bank messes with the values around it. After I built the bank, then I sold off the 3-star chalets and kept the little painted houses making sure I had 6 of them. The sale of the chalets brought my revenue to $5M. And I beat the level. I'm sure there are a lot better strategies than mine available but it worked!!

Thanks for your reply. My strategy has been more or less the same as yours, ie building chalets and upgrading them asap in order to sell them later. I have also been building a firestation, police station and a workshop too as I got fed up with paying out money for repairs and call outs, maybe thats where I go wrong ?

Yippity-Do-Day FINALLY passed this level, forgot about wasting time and money building the services etc., and just concentrated on building and upgrading fast. It worked

Can't believe I got stuck on a level so early on lol !

I still can't get level 18 with a blue ribbon! Aaaaaaa....I did it like 10 times in a row, and I can't do it. Is there a trick other than building a bunch of houses and upgrading first? Then I tried level 19.....same......just can't do it with a blue ribbon. Maybe I just have to keep at it another 20 times, LOL!

I need help getting the blue ribbon for this level too. Anyone got any ideas? The goals for the level are 1 bank, 6 painted houses and $500,000. Seems like it should be simple but it isn't. I've tried building the Dormer and then painting it straight up, put it up for sale and build the workshop. Once I get the money from the Dormer I buy the blueprint for the bank and get it built asap. I try to keep building Dormers, painting and upgrading them and selling them as soon as I can. I've also built about 3 banks hoping to increase my money but invariably run out of time before I can buy the houses back. I can get the level completed easily enough, just can't get the expert level. Help please!!
