Hello everyone! I just thought I’d pop in and let you know that I’ve gone ahead and moved this discussion to the forum that we have set up for Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe.

Happy gaming!

dark6060: are you right there?
Goals for Level 35 = (I think)
2 Premium Dormers
own 2 Services
+100 appeal
Rent 300.000
I don't see no 12.000.000

Haven't followed the link so don't know if this is the best way but I just squeaked in record time by:

building and selling dormiers with empty spaces next to them and once I had an empty spots between 2 dormiers that I didn't own, putting up the sawmill and the workshop.

I did the sawmill first and then kept dormier selling until the workshop was built. Then with more workers, the premium spaces were maxxed out chateaus that I kept for rent money.

The most important thing, though, was 2 world banks each with the financial advisor, again between 2 sold dormiers. Fill in the rest of the spots with the chalets, buying back the dormiers at reduced (sad face) prices. Once your're buying back, demolish the sawmill.

By the time you've got 5M, the banks are generating more money than the chateaus, so they come down and up go chalets.

Eventually everything needs to come down including the banks. I always go the worksop last so I don't lose the effeciency.

Hope this works. It finally did for me after about 10 tries.

I totally need help with this one...its driving me nuts. It wants me to build 2 banks and no negative house appeal. But every time I build a bank near a house it automatically gives me negative appeal...How on earth can I change that? I've tried everything..landscaping painting etc and nothing is working. Any help would be great!!!

Thanks

Sorry this is actually level 36 not 35.

Goals (1) 2 Premier Dormers (2) own 4 Services (3) +100 Appeal (4) Rent $300,000.

Restore your dilapidated Dormer, paint it once and then sell it right away for $315,000.

Train 4 workers for $140,000.
Buy 1,000 materials and build a Chateau by demolishing one of your dilapidated cottages.

Sell your Chateau without upgrading it or painting it. You will get between $1, 200,000 and $1,080,000. Sell it for whatever price you get for it, don't waste time haggling.

Buy 1,000 materials and build a Sawmill by demolishing one of your dilapidated Venetian homes.

Build a workshop.

Start building some Chateaus, paint them and upgrade them to 3 stars and inspect all of them.

Demolish the run-down Chalet that you own and place a Chateau on there instead.

Buy Efficiency Training for your workers. ($75,000).

Train 9 workers.

Start working really fast so you can get the Efficiency goal.

Build a Clock Tower in between 2 Chateaus or in between 2 other properties.

Place a Hedge Maze in between 2 other properties.

Start constructing one service at a time in any spot that you can find.

As soon as the 2 cheapest Premier lots are available, buy them, demolish the houses that are on there and then build the 2 Dormers needed for your goal.

Buy materials as needed and make sure that you upgrade all your properties to 3 stars and inspect them.

In order to get the $300,000 in rent you should have at least 5 Chateaus and your 2 Premier Dormers all upgraded to 3 stars.

In order to get the appeal high make sure that you place a couple of landmarks in between 2 other properties, and that all properties are painted.

Buy the smaller properties, demolish them and place the Services that you need to complete your goal

when you get close to the end, if you need the space, buy up a lot of materials and then demolish the sawmill to build what you need on the lot - service, chateau, landmark, etc. Try to build the sawmill in the corner and then the workshop next to it to "buffer" the houses. The workshop is only -5 appeal, so you can overcome that by painting a house.
