Investigation 8

I'm having trouble finishing this level. I have all the items in the list for the Village Green but the timer just keeps ticking down - no "you have found all of the items in this puzzle" message comes up. I also have all of the pieces of the fax machine in my inventory and all of the items from the other locations in the investigation. Is this a glitch or am I missing something here??

robbauer, Welcome to the Fish Pond. You need to assemble the fax machine. I think if you cursor over the fax on the desk, it sparkles...click on it to begin the mini-game. You have to assemble the inner pieces first before you place the outer pieces.
...I think that's the only min-game or puzzle on this screen. Good Luck
