Could you be a little more specific. I just don't get this one at all. Thanks

SPOILER ALERT!

Start with the slider puzzle to move the battery down into its slot. Then turn on the switch a little to the left of the slider.

The fan will go on. It will slide to the bottom position if you click on the button in the center of the fan.

Click on the metal plate on the far left @ half way down. You will release a marble that must be thrown up by the fan to hit a ceramic Santa in the upper middle of the puzzle. It needs to break to show a battery.

The batter connects to the guitar just to the left. The dials above the new battery need to be set to the numbers on the paper near the metal switch plate.

Click and hold on the pick taped to the guitar and strum it across the strings. The monkey gets frightened and falls down revealing a swipe card stuck in the speaker.

Click and swipe over slot in lock.

How do you know what the slider puzzle is supposed to look like at the end? I've moved the five sliders every way I can and nothing happens when I hit the switch! Please help, thanks.

The object is to move that green battery/chip from the top into the slot at the bottom of the slider. You need to move the sliding wood pieces so as to open a path to the slot. Try playing with it. If you can't solve it, try Googling Ravenhearst Walkthroughs. Some have videos.

Good luck!

I've tried setting the dials above the battery to +9 and -3, but that doesn't seem to work. The +9 should be like 9o'clock on the plus side, and 3o'clock on the negative side, right? But when I do this then strum the pick across the guitar strings, nothing happens!

The numbers are +8 / -3. Don't go by the dials but by the values in the little windows over the + and - signs. If you have done everything else listed in the posts above, it should work.
