Are you familiar with face book?
Well, you have to sign up or sign in
Search for Paul Thelen (he's Picman here on the forums)
Request to be his friend
You will be notified that you are andwill get access to the pics

Picman has posted the screen shots on his facebook page. If you have FB then friend request Paul Thelen and when he accepts then you'll be able to see them. I also think emmyjayne may have another link. You can always PM her.
PS. the only stupid question is the one not asked

Carly_darn, picman has been posting some screenshots to his FaceBook account. To see the pictures there, you will need to join FaceBook if you have not already done so. To locate picman's FB account, search for Paul Thelan and then ask to be his friend. Once he has approved your request, you will be able to view the screenshots.

Purplerabbit wrote:Hmm, some interesting insights in the new screen shots. It seems we are not sent on a mission, but get caught in a storm that brings us to Dire Grove!
I think a return to the Ravenhearst Saga is hinted at in a sly way, still thinking something will happen at the end that will show us how to find Victor.
One of students may still be alive, but possesed, on page 17.
I like that the opening shows the screen shot that was used when Dire Grove first came up.
Purplerabbit: so you say we "are" one of them, we get lost and got to Dire Grove and some really bad things happen to us
okay, that's better i think. i can't wait for it. i'm really excited
Hi Esghi, we are the detective and we find the abandoned car. Being the inquisitive type, we have to investigate. I don't know if anything bad will happen to us, but it did to those poor students.

There's the Hag of the Mist, Hag of Dribble or Gwrach-y-rhybin. All are Welsh versions of the banshee.

The only thing I could make out was a note about getting numbers to open a suitcase. I'm hoping some of you techie fishies can find more than I did It must have some good info b/c picman made a comment "maddeningly small photo, isn't it?"
I can't stand the suspense any longer!!
Here's a tip for zooming in on anything when you are in Internet Explorer (and several other programs). I don't know if this works for other browsers. Also, zooming in does not mean better resolution - it just simply makes everything bigger.
Tip: To zoom/unzoom - Hold down the CTRL keyboard key and move the mouse scroll wheel up/down at the same time.
Edit: This shortcut may also work in other programs, too, like the Windows Picture & Fax viewer, etc.

My understanding of the beta testers is that they received part of the game to test/play and they can play it over and over. They did not receive the whole game to test. From what Picman has posted it sounds like a very long game.
Edited to add: I too would pay more for the collectors edition.
Yes, this is right. For beta's they are either a set hour, or you can play through a set level or point in the game.

Wow, that worked for me. Never knew that. Also, use the ctrl and the - button to zoom back to normal size type. And a big thanks to emmyjayne for her info.
I bought a wireless mouse for my laptop because I was not very good with the pad.
Thank you

Off to Wiki Wales borders Lancs & the Cymraeg were a Celtic people, like the Cornish. Maybe the Banshee didn't pay attn to the lines drawn on the map LOL

Seems like that's all the same Banshee:
Gwrach-y-rhybin
A hideous hag who haunts Welsh families, and is also associated with specific places.
In appearance she has matted black hair, overlong arms, black teeth and a hooked nose. A traditional Banshee, she haunts the old Welsh families, warning of death. She would cry out as if she was lamenting the person who was going to die. For instance she would cry 'Oh my husband! my husband!' if a man was to die.
She is mentioned in Celtic Folklore by John Rhys, he considers that she may be an ancient goddesses, as similar figures, such as Black Annis and the Cailleach Bheur, appear throughout the British Isles. These figures may be a remnant of a widely worshiped dark goddess.
The Gwarach-y-rhybin is also said to haunt Pennard Castle and the banks of the River Dribble.
The Hag of the mist, known in Welsh as the Gwrach-y-Rhibyn or the Cyoeraeth, is a hag spirit comparable to the Irish banshee. Like the banshee, the Hag of the mist is portrayed as an ugly woman, whose shriek or cry is said to forewarn of misfortune or death.
Often invisible, she can sometimes be seen at a crossroads or stream when the mist rises.
Her shriek warns of coming misfortune or even death. If it is death that is coming, the name of the one doomed to die will be heard in her "shrill tenor". The misfortune may be coming to the person hearing her voice, or to someone in their family.

Here's the text I can make out on one of the new screenshots:
"My situation continues to grow stranger. After unlocking the last room in the hotel I've stumbled upon more questions than answers. A bed sheet dangles out the back window suggesting one of the students had interest in something in the rear of the hotel. The items strewn about the room appear to belong to a college student by the name of Alison Starling who apparently traveled with some friends to Dire Grove in search of clues to some sort of ancient legend. I intend to track her down and learn more about her interest in this place, as well as the origins of the (apparently disputed) legend."
"What is the combo the suitcase??" is written in the margin.

Thanks emmyjane! That worked much better than zooming in a picture viewer app
For those of you who don't have FB, here is what I could get from diary page 11:
"My situation continues to grow stranger. After investigating the last room of the hotel, I've stumbled upon more questions than answers. A xxx xxx danger(?) out the back window suggesting one of the students had interest in something in the rear of the hotel. The items strown about the room appear to belong to a college student by the name of Allison Sterling who apparently travelled with some friends to Dire Grove in search of clues to some sort of ancient legend. I intend to track xxx down and learn more about her interest in this place as well as the origins of the apparently disputed legend."
There may be some errors and I couldn't make out a few words, but that's the gist of the diary entry. There is also a letter on the page, but couldn't read it at all. All I could tell was that it was on hotel stationary and addressed to "Miss Sterling"
Edit: LOL emmyjane! I guess we were working on the same thing at the same time. Great minds think alike
