Help Please! Getting no where fast!

[Post New]by diji on Dec 16, 10 9:53 PM
Please, I asked forever ago about opening the curtain. Surely someone knows how to get that stupid thing to stay open by using the bucket with bricks. I did what the walkthrough says but it doesn't work and I can't watch the film until I get this fixed.

Some one please HELP!!!!!!!!!

Highlight below

Turn the handle by holding down the left mouse button, keep turning until it will not go any further. Quickly pick up the bucket with the bricks in it and click on the crank handle. This will stop it unwinding. It took me 4 or 5 frustrating goes to get it right. LOL!
Hope that this does it for you.

Thanks for your help. That is what I tried about 100 times and have not gotten it to work. I thought I needed to do something else but I guess I will just have to keep trying until I get it right.

THANKS!

I too had the same problem and just about gave up, but I'm stubborn. Turn the wheel as far as it will go and then stops. QUICKLY, before the wheel begins to unwind put the bucket with bricks on the handle. You have to do it very quickly and the wheel will stay put. I guess that is the challenge, getting the bucket on the handle before it starts to unwind. Good luck.
