I agree with you about the shooting gallery. It is driving me crazy! I can't fof the life of me find 3 sets of keys (only found 1 set) or the pencil. Did you find these?

The third set of keys is an old-fashioned manual typewriter. I've played all the MCF games and this is the best one by far, in my opinion. Even though it was sometimes difficult to figure out what to do with them, I LOVED the crystal ball puzzles. I also enjoyed the mystery items and the scene-within-a-scene locations, especially the items in the latter where you have to do something besides just click on something. (For example: fix the frog, light the candle, etc.) I got a little annoyed - okay, a lot annoyed - with Madame Fate's constant whining, though. Whenever she moaned, "Why does everybody hate me?" I told her - in terms that became progressively more venemous. (har, har) Oh, well, nothing's perfect, right? ;)

Okay! I feel really stupid now! I never even thought about the piano or typewriter keys! Thank-you! Oh, and I finally found the pencil. It is up toward the left hand corner of the puzzel. It is one of the little clawy things hanging down.

I agree this is the best of the MCF games so far. I love the extra challenge of the puzzles, although some of them were really hard! This is the first time playing a MCF game that I've actually run out of time a couple of times. That last puzzle to get your own fortune read was a real bear!

I'm still partial to Ravenhurst because I loved the story, but this one was just as good, I agree. Here's hoping they don't take so long for the next one to come out!

Finished it last night! Loved it! Great challange game. At least with this game when you had to do over a level, there were different items on the list to look for. I also like the forums. After I pounded my head aginst the wall a few times, the forms were there to help out. Hope to see more like this.

If you play again using the same player name, the unlocked attraction will appear. Plus you can find the rest of the mystery items to unlock the other 2 attractions. I didn't get the outhouse until end of 4th time through. Good luck.

I'd like to do some of the harder puzzles near the end again, but I really don't want to have to search for all the items again. Any help would be appreciated. Grumpy1123
Grumpy, as far as I know, you have to play again (be sure to use same player name) in order to revisit any puzzles. Keep watching for mystery items (attractions with ? on midway) so you can unlock new attractions. If you play using same player name, it remembers any mystery items you found in previous games. And, while you may be looking for some of the same items it will also have new items in the list. Also, some of the items in the special windows will be new piece together items. I played my second game in relaxed mode so I could have the additional time at the end for solving a couple of the more difficult puzzles. Good Luck

BonnieBlue -- the main screen for investigation shows each attraction as a card with the attraction on it. There's a column down the left side, a column of cards down the right side, and 5-6 curved in an arch near the top of the screen. Below the arch, near the bottom, are two buttons. One says investigate. The card that is "lit up" shows the next attraction for investigation and if you click on it, it takes you to the midway. The midway shows all the areas that need to be investigated, and any with a ? will have at least one mystery item. THE SECOND BUTTON - on the left - says Mystery Items. If you click on that button, it takes you to a screen that shows 3 separate attractions that are available only when you find enough mystery items. They are Kitty Carnival, Tunnel of Love, and Outhouse. It will tell you how many mystery items are needed to open them. For example, let's say you've found only 5 mystery items, the Kitty Carnival will show unlocked but the other two will still show as locked. Once you unlock one of these 3, it may not immediately appear. It will appear at random later in your game ... or, if it does not appear in the game currently being played, it will appear in the next game. Let's say you've clicked on Bianca, the Daredevil Diva to Investigate. You go to the Midway and several attractions are shown to be investigated. Perhaps two have purple question marks. That means that only those two will have a mystery item to find. If you search one of those and complete it without finding the mystery item, you cannot go back and look for it until you complete the game and solve all attractions including the final puzzle. You must then begin a new game - using the SAME player name - and any remaining mystery items that were not found in game 1 will be available to find in game 2. Sorry this post is so wordy, but was not sure how much you knew versus how much of the game you had actually completed. Hope this helps. Have fun. Cesse

I thought this game was clever and fantastic. Thanks to these forums, I completed every crystal ball puzzle except one. I couldn't do the one with the jumbled pictures in the center and the tins along the edges. I'd get all but one square to look like the picture and then couldn't get the last square to change before time ran out. I played Ravenhurst and had to skip most of the extra puzzles because I didn't know about these forums. It was good but a little frustrating because I wanted to play those extras! Thank you to all of you who helped us out with clues, or outright answers, which I needed a few times!
