Post any Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death CE technical issues here only

I am trying to run this game on Vista Home Basic. I have downloaded the trial version and as soon as I hit the play button, a Microsoft warning comes up and says that Windows as encountered a problem with this game and must close it. All of my other games are running fine. I don't find this specific problem in your Help pages.
