Okay I've just finished playing it. I bought the game after only a few minutes of demo time - it seemed to be a really great game, good graphics and a grabbing storyline, and also seemed to be following in line with the other HIdden Expedition games. Now that I'm done with it, I don't think it did hold tru to the HE line of games - seemed a different sort altogether very quickly. The ending was too abrupt, although that does leave a promise of a sequel. Still...of all the HE games, this is my least favorite, and so not sure that I would look forward to a sequel. The game length was great and kept me going a long time. Lots of areas for thinking and puzzling, as well as HOG areas. Although some of the items searched for seemed a bit useless. I guess most HOG games you look for "junk", yet because I was using alot of what I found in this game, it made the other stuff I was looking for in the HOG parts seem very out of place. All in all, a great game and worth the credit.

Finished the game and found it to be soo much fun! Unexpected twists and humor as well as great graphics. I actually thought the end was great and a good segway into the next game. The puzzles were a definite challenge and i would have liked to be able to get just a hint in the right direction instead of solving the puzzle for me. But other than that, WELL DONE, BF!

It's so difficult finding a game that ticks all the boxes. The games are either way too easy, impossibly difficult or worst of all take themselves far too serious. This has no spooky lost souls, haunted houses, serial killers, or endless boring dialogue etc...just a quirky storyline, amusing characters and beautiful graphics.
Well done BFG on the basis of this game alone I have just purchased another of the Hidden Expedition games, lets just hope its as good as this one.

I forgot to mention in my earlier comments that I agree with everybody else on the mini's , I just want a clue not the answer. Heck, I got Amazon when it came out about a year ago and today was the first time I figured out the monkey puzzle and I'm ok with that, a bit embarrassed, but ok.

It was fun. Ending was a bit abrupt. The puzzles were interesting and it was a good mix with hidden object scenes. I'll probably download the newest version and play again.

Just finished Devil's Triange. I truly enjoyed it very much but I sure was glad for the Walk Through. The graphics are getting better and better.

Thanks Big Fish for this one.

Nomatt is right, BFG downloads are slow. I've had quite a few conversations with my cable company about not getting anywhere near the download speed I was paying for. Began to suspect the problem was BFG. Thanks for confirming my suspicion before I changed my computer, phone, and television provider.
What's up, Big Fish?

Great looking game but I have been unable to save the game or put my name on the game, or any name for that matter. I have posted to Big Fish Tech but still haven't had a replay, It's very frustrating having a game that you have played, uninstalled and reinstalled just to make sure it's not a faulty installation but be unable to do anything else until someone else tells you what to do!!

Please hurry up Technical Support! :-)

I LOVED this game so much. I am hoping that the makers of this game are currently working on part 2 of this series. I highly recommend purchasing this game! Thanks again, Big Fish for another great HOG/adventure game!

Have to say this is one of the better games. Not too easy and not so difficult you cannot enjoy it. It took a bit to download, but once it was ready, it has been fun. It is a good workout for the brain. I am taking my time working my way through. Don't want to hurry and finish it.

I just finished Devil's Triangle and enjoyed it very much. I thought the puzzles just hard enough... and all different, vs some games where the puzzles are only 2-3 kinds.
I did have to use the forum tips one time, but when I saw the solution, I realized I could have figured it out... but that is not bad.
I would say about 5 hours to complete. '
I thought it well worth the money.

I'll be honest I rarely post but I do lurk, and this game brought me out of my lurkdom long enough to give my 2 cents for what they are worth.

I agree with so many others I would prefer a hint to be simple nudge, rather than an immediate solve of the puzzle. I attempt to solve every game without any walkthrough or help and even though I collected the beetles in Amazon and the gems in Everest it wasn't for help with locating things, but rather the challenge of if I could find them. (I won't lie the hint button was used in both games for locating things)

Secondly I have to agree that the ending was rather abrupt and the length especially compared to Amazon was rather short barely over 2 hours. There were also steps shown which seemed to have no purpose (I found the lens for the telescope for what purpose? To see an aircraft carrier and two islands?)

Also if you looked at you book for objectives it would sometimes show things that I myself hadn't discovered yet (i.e., get to Gideon's house). If you hadn't bothered to question the couple on the beach and taken the first option of ending the conversation you wouldn't know who Gideon was, (which is how I played it) all of a sudden the book shows information I didn't know I learned. My longwinded example just shows a fallacy in the play of the game. I guess I would have liked it not to give me information unless I myself had asked the questions. If there was a way for the game to be played simply by my actions and not assuming I would question everyone in one setting it would be more fluid and less jarring.

Oh well on the whole it's a lite version of RTR and a complete departure from the other HE series so I'll take it for what it was, interesting but light adventure series game. Not the worst but not the best, but in the end it was worth buying.

Mac version please!! Stop delaying the mac releases for three months. Other sites release mac and PC at the same time, why can't big Fish?

What an extraordinarily frustrating and annoying game! I loved the other Hidden Expeditions, but I sure wish I had my game credit back for this one. Big disappointment.
