Other games like this

Does anyone know of other time management games like this that are in 1st person? I don't really like the 3rd person games with the characters running around all over the place.

Yes there is one called Cooking Academy where you learn how to "cook". You chop mix bake and add ingredients all against the clock. Its really good, and I enjoyed playing it. Its by Big Fish and at the moment its on the front page. You might like to check it out first though to see if you would enjoy playing it.

I think that Cooking Quest, Go-Go Gourmet, Hot Dish and Top Chef might be like this game.

Cooking Dash, Go Go Gourmet and Go Go Gourmet of the year and
Delicious Emily Tea Garden are some cooking games I really like, and some are like this with products u have to find and cooking etc.... check them out!

If you like first-person type games, try Burger Island (and Burger Island 2, although I had cursor problems with BI 2).

There's also a little online game called Bush's Hot Dogs (or something like that) with Dubya being a cook at a roadside hotdog stand...it's first person (you never really see Dubya, you are the cook) and it's surprisingly good for a game you play online!

Oh and you should try Yummy Drink Factory. Stupid name...but the game is really quite good and challenging. You are behind the counter at various hot chocolate stands and have to remember the recipes of progressively more complicated drinks. It's great!

go-go gourmet & go-go gourmet 'chef of the year' are similar in that you have to find the items then cook them. it's not fully 1st person, but you don't actually have to click your player at all.

cooking academy & cooking academy world cuisine are 1st person. instead of finding the items, you actually have to cut, mix, bake, etc. the same also go for hot dish and hot dish 2 - cross country cook off.

i personally did not like top chef. there's also hell's kitchen. it's 1st person, and you have to cook, but the foods are just generic bwols colored differently.

burger island is aslo first person, but as stated above, i also had problems with burger island 2.

even though it's not really cooking, chocolatier 1, 2, & 3 and the farm frenzy games are great games too.
