I bought the game after no. 2., so there were some minor annoyances, but all in all I had a blast playing this. It's really annoying that the workers won't throw out garbage if you place anything in the corner where the garbage-bin is to be, so if you're having problems with this, then don't place anything in that corner (lower left corner of screen).
Also if you're having trouble making the deadline with your workers, assign them all the time to their colour. When something lights up in their color have them run over there if you're not almost finished with what you're working on.
They work much faster when the furniture is lit up with their color, and you won't have to pour so much coffee on'em.
And finally I've had pretty good succes with assigning several workers (of which one should always be "in colour" of that furniture I assign to) to the same thing. If the color of the furniture changes to something that none of the 2 I've assigned to that particular furniture have, I simply change workers, so that there's always one with that color working on assignment.
I hope it makes sense! giggles.
I've been speaking my own language all day and am pretty tired, so my english not that sharp right now.
I've been very happy with both games. And I'm looking forward to a 3rd!

This game has so much potential. However....I agree with you wholeheartedly. What is with the constant sabotage? In real life if workers were that bad, they'd be FIRED on the spot.
Thanks for your earlier post wherein you shared about just playing in your own space. I think I may do that. I got to the 7th or 8th house with a lot of effort and cussing. The workers are stupid, the irrational and constant changing of color is no more than what appears to be a lazy way to "fool" the gamer into not finishing in time (has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with how fast the program can change colors ... so what?), the ridiculousness of the workers running around so you can't put the first aid kit on them because they won't hold still except once every half day or so of work.....it's all just too blatent.
Like I said, this game has much potential .... but I think it's being missed. If the game needs challenge (minus the aforementioned irrational behavior of the workers) perhaps it could be made more realistic in challenging the spending of money or even the placement of items within the space .... something along the lines of really getting a well balanced room for whatever is in it. I've no idea if that's something that can be written into a program. But anything would be better than the mind-scr*wing changing of colors, frenetically insane running all over of hurt workers (most people, when hurt, STOP and feel the pain.... know what I mean? Why not try something realistic?)
Yeah. I'm with you NONONONONO; I will just play around with my own room space. Waste of money at this stage, but I would like to know if #2 and/or #3 is any improvement, because if so, the game has a real potential of being much more popular. Look at all the comments .. including those of us who are aspiring interior designers (such as lynx_lucifer) or just frustrated interior decorators like myself. Wish it were better.
