The Industrial park

I must be stupid or something, but even with the directions from the strategy guide I cannot find my way to the waterfall to collect the red water and Stina's earring.
Can someone help, I am getting so frustrated after trying so many times.

Did you use your ladder to climb up by the construction vehicle?

Thankyou for the welcome and your quick reply prpldva. I cant' find my way to the construction vechile. the directions I have are :
Forward x 8
Right x 1
Forward x 6
Left x 1
following these directions from the strategy guide, I still can't find my way. Thanks for your help

After you make the left, place your ladder on the wall and climb up. Then go f-r-f-l and you will see the red water ahead. the walk way is a little past it

Hi again, I can't even find the wall to put the ladder against.

It's right in front of the loader- you should see a low concrete wall

From the map, click on the Industrial park.

go forward 8 times
turn right - you should see an alley with a barricade
go forward 6 times - you should see a wire fence blocking your path
turn left- you should see a low concrete wall with a coil of wire leaning against it. Put the ladder to the left of it.

Somewhere I missed something because when I go back to talk to Sina in the store after leaving the petroglyphs there is nothing on the note pad about the water and she does not ask about the earing. I've read through a walkthrough but can't spot anything i've missed.

Try examining the petroglyph paper in your inventory..make sure that it has changed and shows what the symbols stand for.
