how do i get to aveyond?

i'm supposed to go there to find out how to get round the giant stone walls, and i have no idea wwhere to gooooooooooooooooooooo

It's been a loooooooong time since I played this so I've sort of forgotten the exact order of doing things, but easy things first: If you're looking for the Oracle - which I think you are? - you need to look for her in a place called the Mists. It's on the west side of the island where you can also find Happily Ever After. First time you go there you won't find her, though, but you will find items and quests that will help you getting further.
