If you are having problems getting Scrapbook Paige to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct common issues in the past:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen
Game Compatibility

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team. The forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly. If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

When posting in this thread, it also helps to mention whether you're playing the PC or Mac version of the game.

I am running a macbook pro with OS 10.7.3 (Lion). I bought Scrapbook Paige quite a while ago when I had a ppc Macbook pro. I wanted to play the game again last night & so tried to only to find I got a completely black screen with no activity whatsoever. It didn't even load the BFG logo. I am wondering therefore If this game is not designed to work on the newer operating systems and that maybe my newer system is now not compatible for this game. Am I correct? Is there a 'patch' or 'upgrade' There's nothing about it being only compatible with older systems on the page where you buy the game. If so, I don't think I got my money's worth! Is there a fishy that may have any ideas? Thanks

game frozen when i complete the first three sections,done button just dont work..i reinstall the game two times but nothing changes..starting to regret for purchasing this i ve paid for nothing..please help..

Hi Ghyllpatch and dicece,

Welcome to the pond!

Ghyllpatch – there could be a chance that the game is having compatibility trouble. However if you haven’t given it a try yet, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps (if you click the blue text it will take your right there).

Dicece – If the game is freezing I’ve found the steps at this help article here: Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen can help in situations like this.

However if either of you are still running into trouble after that I would get in touch with our Customer Support team and one of our Reps would be happy to help you out.
