Can someone help me please???

Can someone help me out?

I am stuck on the "Air Granny" level in the "Splashbucklers" world. Everytime that I try to use the fan on the far right to go up to the top I get stuck and it won't lift Granny. It doesn't matter which umbrella that I use either. The other two fans work fine though.

I hope that this is just a glitch in the game but I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it several times and I still have the same problem. Is there a patch or something, somewhere that I can use to fix the problem?

You might be relieved to find you're not the only one stuck on this level. I have exactly the same problem. I have actually got lift-off from that right hand fan a couple of times, but it seemed entirely random - I can't work out how I did it.

I have also been suspecting that it's a slight misplacement in the design, it seems strange for there to be such an impossible toask so early in the game.

I do love the frying pans and the fast running shoes and the bouncy things, but there's one other thing that irritates me - it's very awkward to start again at the same level. The instructions are confusing - "restart level" "continue level" "abandon level" - half the time I find myself back at the tutorial again and am being told I'll lose a life if I want to go beack to the map and find where I was before. I'm sure this isn't supposed to happen.

I got trhough all the levels of Granny in Paradise. Took me about two years!

So, BFG - is there a slight mistake in Air Granny? It's level 35 of Splashbucklers

I just checked out the forums at Sandlot on Air Granny- apparently this is a glitch and the way to over come it is to walk granny both and forth until the umbrella opens

I find that the airlift works best if you walk Granny just onto the left hand side of the fan, I agree its a bit hit & miss but it seems to lift her more often than if you walk her right over the centre of the fan.

Oh how I love the Granny games but I played them all so much I got a little fed up with them, I wish they would bring out a new one, wouldn't that be great?

Mews- you should play some of the user made levels- they are the best! Search Yahoo groups for super granny- find the one that has "Puzzel"- awsome devilish levels from Old bear!

Thanks prpl, I tried to do that last night but it wouldn't work for me, probably cos I was just using the trial download.
It's years since I bought the game and can't remember where I bought it from to re-download it. I'll have to look through all my old print-outs of game purchases, hope I haven't timed out on it

Oooh I found it, bought it 3 years ago from RealA, re-downloaded it no prob now I can't find where I can get the user made levels from I had them last night, could you explain exactly how to do it please prpl?

I got stuck on that level too, I think its a bug or glitch or something.

Same problem. Wish they would fix it. I don;t like to pay for a game and it won't wotrk.

This has long been an issue that users have talked about at the sandlot forum. There is no fix for it. Just walk back and forth till the umbrella goes up. If you stand directly on it. it will not open.
