Heartwild Solitaire

[Post New]by Smallhaven on Dec 15, 08 8:11 PM
I don't play a lot of PC card games other than a handful of solitaire's. Fairway Solitaire was a blast but I think I may have come across another solitaire game that I will have to have. Upon reading a bit on Heartland Solitaire, I thought I'd give it a go. And am I ever glad I did!

The solitaire games are done with cards in a Tarot layout with the spread being the Kabbalah. The story as far as I'd gotten was of an abused wife who chose her freedom over staying with her husband. I came across no spouse abuse triggers that may adversely affect a woman who has been there and ran. At least none that made this survivor uncomfortable.

The graphics are nicely done with a mysticism feel to them. The music wasn't bad and after awhile I didn't notice it. I wanted more of the story but will now have to wait for BFG to get this card game. And if they don't - I'll have to pay full price for it. And not many games will I pay $20 for.

When I belonged to another game site I purchased Aloha Solitaire and Aloha Tripeaks Solitaire....I love the ambience in these games....the sounds of waves and birds....but alas...I think these won't be coming here. Since I am afraid to re-download anything from that other company onto my newer laptop(my old one crashed) I'm sticking with fairway,And hope that BF finds some more like it....or makes one!

Small....maybe the BF guys could give you a heads up about if they are getting this one in? It would be terrible to purchase it and then have it show up here!

I forgot to mention the solitaire card games in this game were very good. Some easy and some not so easy with a power-up that goes as long as you can match cards without stalling.

And the biggie for me... No reading lenses are necessary to play this game.

don't even look at me.....

Well that was a bit of a tussle. Using the link from [[removed by moderator] Newsletter wen't to Snadlot to dowload demo and didn't have an account. Created one, thought I logged in, but still had login link at top? Huh, ok, hit the "Try Me" for the game, nothing. Kept taking me back to their home page list of games thing. Finally clicked on the picture of the game, not the "Try Me" button and then from there hit the button and finally download started. Man.... I have gotten so spoiled by Stuff actuallty works around here.
