hi fellows,

after 2 weeks non playing farn frenzy 2, i started my game and my antivrus prgramm announced me that farmfrenzy2 exe contains an WORM. so i had to uninstall farmfrenzy and installed it new.

that sucks

it works now and hope that it never will come again.

I've had the game about a week. Last nite norton ran a full scan and i had two worms in my game. norton got rid of them without destroying the game, but i am not happy. my game came from real arcade. where did yours come from"

Yep. But FarmFrenzy wasn't the only BF game that had a virus. All of them did. My cousin's really good with computers so he fixed my computer for me; luckily it didn't crash.

Wow - I'd sure feel a lot better about using their games, many of which are so buggy (for me) anyway, if one of the mods or powers that be would at least address this issue. I haven't had any viruses that I know of... but I'll run a full scan tonight!

games don't have viruses. They test extensively for them. There is something under help that goes over this. I've had some viruses pop up on a couple games months after I had them, one even a year. The virus wasn't there to begin with so I don't know where it came from, but I've reinstalled them with no problems.

I also have Norton and haven't had anything come up real recently. The game I'd had for over a year came up last week, but that was the only one.

They have addressed this issue....over and over and over. Do a search for "virus" on the forums. Even Picman has posted multiple times explaining the process they go through when testing games before offering them and why some games are causing false positives in multiple anti-virus programs. They are indeed working with the anti-virus companies on these issues.

HTH!
