I've lost one of the stars in the bonus game

Picked both of them up but now one has disappeared and I can't play the next section until I find it. Very frustrating.

I've just started the bonus game ~ I'm up to the sun/clouds & lightening rings. I haven't gotten through arranging those right yet...
