Why am I getting an error message when I try to reinstall

I am having the same problem with each of the L & O trials. I can download it from other games sites without a problem, but not this one

Where are you gettin getting this game? I don't see it on here anywhere

the game is under large file downloads......

has anyone been able to d/l the L & O game? ..I have tried 3 x keep getting the same error..I want to buy the game but if it can't be d/l from here someone send me a p/m where i can d/l & buy one that works...thanks

I haven't been able to play it. I contacted tech support, they found a more updated driver for my media card, so I installed it, uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, and when I tried to play, I got the blue crash screen. So I just deleted the game. One game isn't worth risking my laptop for.

I have played dark obsession and the vengeful heart. And during both endings it seemed to me that there was an alternative or bonus endings, that there were accomplices involved in both murders. All the walkthroughs I've read online don't show how to get to the bonus or alternative endings. Am I interpreting the ending wrong or has anyone actually seen the alternative endings? Help!!!

I have not tried any of the large files games. Are these difficult and frustrating? If not what would be a good one to start with?

Well unfortunately for me I bought this game after the trial worked so well but when I activated it I now get an Access Error and the game won't load, what the heck? So I followed the suggestions in the help about getting an updated driver for my video, yadayahdayadah and so on and so forth -- uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, same thing -- turned off on up down you name it I've tried it -- even ran a registry cleaner and now quite frankly I'm like the others here who have said "its not worth all that putting my laptop in all this peril and question" -- I want my money back Don't bother with it is my own humble personal opinion -- still waiting on tech support but tired of waiting on that too.

I have tried all of the L&O games and get the same problem as soon as the game launches. Access Violation. Tried Tech Support and no one ever got back to me.

It surprises me considering I've downloaded tons of games from this site and generally speaking there haven't been any problems. I've also not had problems with Tech Support responsiveness when I had a question.

This is completely frustrating. Guess I'll have to take my money to another site to buy the game. I'm certainly not going to buy it from here if I can't even d/l the trial and I'm hearing that people that have purchased it are having the same issues.

Re: Large files..they usually are very challenging, they are finding clues & figuring out what to do with them. If you dont have a lot of patience or dont like a big challenge they would be hard for you! But they are also lots of fun!

Hm.. I am reading these posts where people are asking for help and I can't think that all of these problems are unrelated.

Has Big Fish released any patches to correct these problems (as far as they are Big Fish's problems)--or even replied to these people at all?

If I download it and it doesn't work will I be hung out to dry? (and believe me, I don't need any new drivers or hardware)
But I am running Vista--will that be a problem?

I'm asking because I don't want to spend my money in places that don't appreciate having me as a customer.
And customer service is the best gauge of being appreciated as a customer.

I purchase Dark Obsession and I am running Windows for servers, it runs just fine, perhaps you people need to clear your cache and cookies and reboot, then try again, or maybe you just do not have the room on your computer to run such a large file.

I have tried all of the above and still get "error access violation" message. Will keep trying other methods. Suggestions welcome.
Don't give up on BigFish just because of this one game. These things happen. Anyway, happy gaming!

How do I get upstairs to see Frank Doherty's boss at the Vernon Gas Co?

Hi , aside from the technical problems, can anyone give me any reviews on the game itself. It it a good one, pros and cons etc. I checked Gamezebo and they don't have a review. I like to hear how people liked the large file games before I buy them. So any reviews would be very helpful.
