Is anyone else anxious for the next Dark Parables installment?!?! I cannot wait! Im really hoping that they eventually do a game for each princess (Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Odette). I know the next one is supposed to be Snow White? I think...

Also, does anyone know if it will be the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (I assume so since there was reference to that in The Frog Prince) or the story of Snow White & Rose Red, which is a totally different fairytale.

I cant wait for the next game!!!!

i would love to see it about snow white and rose red as that was not the popular story but a great story in my opinion as i loved to read it while growing up.

i just love your name by the way as i collect anything and everything tinkerbell and the grinch

For it to be dark, I think it would have to be Snow White and Rose Red.
The original story on Cinderella is quite gruesome, so I think they would have to be careful if they used that!

If the Bonus Feature is any indication, it has to be someone with a mother--and a mother who is upset about something.

Ummm- guess that would leave Snow White out.

And we know that for some reason, this angry mother seems to be responsible for freezing the land...or at least putting it in perpetual winter...

Perhaps dropping into Greek mythology with Demeter and Persephone? She certainly screwed up the seasons when she got ticked off with Persephone and Hades.

I seriously hope they use the Snow White and Rose Red story......I had forgotten that story from my childhood until you mentioned it

that's so funny i see this thread DD and i just finished playing briar rose and the exiled prince yesterday and DD was begging to play the next one... "but mama they said and the next mission is in snow land..." sorry we hafta wait till the make the next issue.. patience is not one of her strong points...

From what I could tell (in the bonus material) it has got to be Snow White. Plus with the added part in the frog prince's story of Snow White's cottage and they mentioned the dwarves in the game and the apples you had to find to get into her cottage and the coffin where the doll was frozen in time, I think it is going to be about Snow White, the dwarves, and the Evil Queen. I just dont know how.

I do hope they dont try to blend the stories of Snow White & the 7 dwarves with Snow White & Rose Red because they are not the same story. I am praying they know that (hey, in case you didnt! not the same story)

I do wish they'd come up with something similar to Dark Parables and MCF about greek mythology. Like the stories of Persephone, Prometheus, Arachne, Hercules, etc. Those would be really fun. They'd have to do them right though. I honestly feel that MCF and Dark Parables are the best two hidden object series on BFG. Im constantly on edge waiting for the next one.

And after taking the plunge with exiled prince, I will absolutely by ever MCF or Dark Parables game in Collector's edition format from now on.

Snow White, could be good. Evil mother, poisonous apples, dwarfs, can´t wait to see it.

I agree with Tinkerbell90873 - I'll be getting the next Dark Parables in CE format.

I purchased the 2nd as a CE, but haven't had a chance to play yet. Purchased the regular edition of the first one....totally willing to upgrade if others feel it is worth it. I do enjoy these games so far and am looking forward to the next one.

I am debating that myself. I loved the first one in the standard edition but im betting the extra parts would be worth it.

But I don't think we need to worry about the story aspects...no one does twisted fairy tales better than Steven Zhao. The man is a master and very respectful of the legend at the same time.

Whatever the game turns out to be - the story will be beautifully done.

everyone talks about the game but does anyone knows when it's coming out?

I have got to go look up the other snow white story. The one i'm assuming without the seven dwarfs. But the next Dark Parables already has a name. and it is already out on gamezebo so i dont know why they dont have it here yet, but gamezebo is also closed due to maintenance right now so i wasnt able to find out much more than the name of the new one, but it is about the snow queen. which is what i assumed. i dont know why everyone jumped to snow white just because we see snow. and you also had some sneaky stuff to do to get the the little mermaid, and cinderella so i dont think there was more of a lean toward snow white then the other princesses in this game to lead anyone to think of her cottage as a hint. and i may not know the entire grimms story to the snow white story because i though the story ended with her getting kissed by a prince and lives happily ever after with him in her cottage with her dwarfs. But the snow queen and her snow kingdom and her white eyes is classic, and i dont know how they have anything to do with one another but i also only know mother goose and disney versions of all these stories. anyway the game is called Dark Parables: Rise of the Snow Queen

As a side note, does anyone have any idea where i can find and read on the internet the true stories. like someone said cinderella was actually horrible and probably not even appropriate for a childrens game, so where can i read these?
