Graphic Issue?

[Post New]by jediliz on Dec 23, 08 6:37 AM
I am trying this game out and the graphics are getting distorted /scrambled after a few minutes of play. I'm only on the second shop with ten minutes of my 60 remaining.

Anyone else having this issue? I know I should contact tech support, but I am not sure if they can help me. I don't want to buy this to have it to continue to have this issue...

Didn't have that issue and it doesn't seem to be a topic of many posts. Have you updated your directx and vid card recently? Could be they're having trouble processing.

I'm playing it on my laptop. My DirectX is updated.

I may try to download it on my desktop to see if I have the same issue.

I'm having the exact same problem. I noticed in the forums for this game that others were experiencing the same things. I dont want to buy it either if its got that many bugs.

This is for anyone having problems with downloaded games.Try it and see if it works!I have Windows Vista.Go to Control Panel, and open Personalize.I have to do this with a lot of games I bought.Under Display settings, move the resolution to Low and change it to 16 Bit.you can always change it back anytime you want to!

Another problem may be the browser you use. I was told early on in my relationship with Big Fish that it is best to use IE to download the games. They're geared more to IE than to other browsers. I had downloaded a game (Cash Cow, which quickly got dubbed "Crash Cow" because of instability problems) with my default browser, Firefox. The Big Fish tech support told me that it's best to use IE.

Hope this helps.

I have two PCs and one of them displayed this fault, making the game unplayable. The PC in question was an AMD Athlon 64 with nVidia 8800GT using Windows XP 32-bit. The only solution seemed to be to run the game in windowed mode.

The other PC, an Intel Core 2 Duo with nVidia GTX260, had perfect graphics in both in Vista and XP.

Both PCs use IE7 so I don't think it's a browser issue. Both PCs are dual-core, both have 4GB RAM, both have identical sound cards. The only real difference (other than processior brand and motherboard) between the two PCs is the graphics adapter installed in each, with the game failing on the 8800GT card.

Both PCs (in all Windows versions) had the looping sound problem reported elsewhere.
